Food is good for the price, service is also ok. The only annoying thing is the playlist. Seems like there's 1 track only, the piano version of the titanic song, on repeat forever. Being the only open restaurant in the resort during the time we...were here, it becomes extremely frustrating. Titanic for breakfast, lunch and dinner... I bet the staff is sick of it as well. Please please please get a different playlist or just let the guests enjoy the ocean sound.More

Given covid19, the menu is quite varied and we ate 4 times in the evening with a variety of choices and not once were disappointed. Similarly for breakfast, we ate every day of 10 and they do a great job. The platter was nice, the...chicken rendang and satay pizza was excellent, as well as other dishes we chose.More

We dropped by for dinner, had a few Asian dishes for dinner, food was delicious and reasonably priced for an outlet in a 5 stars resort, service was also prompt and excellent. We were seated outdoors with a view of the beach and sea, great...views of the sunset here, we spent a few hours here enjoying the relaxed environment and surrounding views.More

Had 3 breakfast in a row during the stay here. Sarang burung Roti canai is the best. Champagne breakfast, cannot be missed. Lovely service, tasteful dishes and all smiling faces in the morning.

I'm sorry to say, but this was disapointing experience. We ordered drinks, Bloody Mary and Singapore Sling. They came in clumsy "milk glasses". The restaurant deep frie almost everything. I asked if it is possible to get fish quickly fried in a pan just like...it is, not deep fried and the answer was no. In the list garden salad has also cucumber, there wasn't one little pease. Still restaurant Sands want to think it is serving fine dining. Well, I get better food in much cheaper beach bars round Langkawi, even a small bar near this wannabee fancy restaurant.More

We had breakfasting for family of 5. Enjoyed buffet selection with various of superb food especially grilled lamb which tender and delicious even my mom also agreed. She very fussy in terms of grilled lamb though 😉. The ambiance was great, and people would die...for sunset. Definitely I would come back to this stunning resort again.More

We had bought a one day non resident package at Tanjung Rhu for RM 400, including use of the pools, sunloungers and lunch or dinner. We opted for the lunch option, which we took at Sands Restaurant. Had a three course meal there which was...obviously freshly cooked as it took some time. The food was delicious and nicely presented and drinks were so much cheaper than we were expecting for this class of hotel. Only criticism was that some of the breakfast dishes had not been cleared away from other part of the restaurant nearer the toilets.More

We stayed at the Tanjung Rhu Resort for a week, and breakfasted each day, and dined several times, at The Sands. Breakfasts were nice, but dinners were excellent. An extensive menu, lovely food, good friendly service, and lovely surroundings, facing the offshore islands and the...sunset.More

We went there for 1 lunch while our stay at the resort. We never had any meal again. Food is average or poor with high price. It is not exactly at the beach so you don't have any breathtaking view of the sea, rather a...pool facing one.More
