We ordered: 1) gulai ikan termenung 2) ikan tenggiri goreng 3) gulai telur ikan 4) sotong goreng tepung 5) cendawan goreng All were delicious especially the gulai, it was made to order. So you’ll get it hot and eat it with the sambal and lots of vege (ulam)

Cheap and delicious One of the places to go to if you are looking for local food. It’s near the airport. Food is on point and value for money

Off the beaten track. Simple menu with only a handful of cooking style options but a variety of seafood on offer. Choose your seafood and method of cooking - we ordered the jenahak curry, fried crab, battered mushrooms and fried fish, along with the complimentary ulam and sambal. Affordable and tasty.

Dinner at Halim GP Gulai Panas is delicious. Only if one loves seafood and curry. I guess the curry and the cili is the best part of this restaurant. Took 3 talapia fish and 4 big prawn and the total cost came up to RM65. There's nothing on the view as it is a simple restaurant. One just go for the fooooooood.

Taken here by a taxi driver when we asked about good local eats. You pick your choice of seafood and then they make up curries etc for you. Pretty basic and not a particularly picturesque location but good, honest food.

Me n siblings went to visit n lepak2 at our sister’s house in Langkawi. ( She just move in there middle last yr) early March 2019. So, she bring us there for Dinner. The food so marvellous n the seafood all fresh. The special is they cooked fresh after we choose the seafood. N i come again to Langkawi for Lima 19’ on 25th till 30th March. This time around i bring my husband to try the food there n he like it very2 much.. So I recommended who come to Langkawi must try the food here especially The Gulai Kari. So so yummy.. The place at the roundabout near the Langkawi International Airport.

If you fancy curry fish head (or any other mamak style curry) this id definitely the place to be. However, be warned the waiting time might put you off. Parking space is quite limited so be prepared to endure a long walk before you can enjoy their famous curry. Quite tasty and friendly staff was there to greet you.

You turn up, pick your fish/seafood from the selection they have on display and tell them how you like it cooked. Their speciality is "gulai", which is a Malaysian curry broth - and you can use any of the fish, cuttlefish, or fish roe to put into your gulai. Have it with rice. A family dinner (2 adults and 2 kids) costed us ~RM50. So, definitely not a touristy place.
