Great place to have a great cocktail during sunset. The awesome and very attentive staff turned our evenings at the bar every time into a very relaxing time.
The staff was very helpful with recommendations about local food, which turned out to be very delicious. Sitting directly at the bar at sunset is a great way to end the day and start the night.
Sham and his colleagues made our stay at the Ritz-Carlton-Hotel special. Thank you...

The Director Shen-Ynn and manager Rasman is so helpful and friendly. They make sure I'm able to get a table to celebrate my BF birthday even the restaurant policy is no reservation. They even prepared a customize a dramatic birthday surprise to my BF! So sweet of them! Me and BF had a great time in Horizon, enjoying the delicious food with beautiful sunset view. Definitely will come back again :)

Four of my girlfriends and I decided to have fancy dinner on our last night in Langkawi and we picked Horizon Ritz Carlton. The scenery was astonishing , we came right before the sunset and we had the chance to take perfect photos with the panoramic view. Our hostess Balqis has been amazing, recommending delicious food and telling us the story of how the food are inspired.

We had been before to this restaurant and then we had a nice experience. t went wrong from the beginning. We arrived around 6 pm to see the sunset. We ordered cocktails 1 Negroni & 1 Whiskey sour. The waiter who brought the cocktails had not paid any attention since I received my Negroni is a dirty glass. It was replaced by a new cocktail but that should have not happened.
We had ordered our food around 6.30 pm it took 1 hour for 1 salad, 1 appetiser and 1 soup to arrive. After we finished the starters it took a long time again for the mains to arrive. I had beef massaman which was rather bland it should be spicy and we mentioned that we wanted it spicy. my husbands main course was also not like thai food should taste, with our main course we drank a bottle of champagne but when it was finished the waiter didn't even ask us if we would have liked another bottle. Which we actually would have ordered. We had both a dessert and my husband always likes a coffee at the end of his meal. Once we had finished asked the bill and left not in the best of spirits.

A beautiful and comfortable set-up to enjoy an unforgettable sunset.
An unobstructed view on the sea and Langkawi; an original cocktail menu; most helpful and friendly bartenders and waitresses / waiters will make your evening an experience you will want to repeat.
( Note: Horizon is also a restaurant offering at dinner delicious Thai food. My recommendation: Pomelo salad: crab curry and steamed fish. Not to forget the Coconut Sundae...).

Such a amazing view of Horizon, The best place for sunset drinks, The hi tea was so delicious and the special arrangements by Jennie was really make my day and service by Grey, Julie, Farez, Amar and Ling really attentive and give a personalized service. The last but not least the special delicious dessert and hi tea from Kitchen team especially Chef Zikri, Chef Shawn, Chef Izri , Chef Ikmal and Chef Wani. The special drinks by Nico and Taufik was really good and presentable. This is my best Hi Tea Ever.

Came here for drinks and dinner on a Sunday evening and the view is amazing! One of the best places to watch the sunset. Upon ordering a drink we were told that the restaurant is actually closed on Sundays and no food can be provided at the bar. We were a little disappointed as we weren’t advised this on the phone when making an enquiry to book table- they only mentioned it’s a first come basis. However that was fine as we enjoyed a couple of drinks while enjoying the view. The prices are quite high but we elected that as it’s a 5-star hotel. Our server-Tiffany was so lovely and was available to help out straight away.
Highly recommended for the view!

A perfect spot for the perfect sunset combined with the most delicious food. The chef went over and beyond to make us a special fish dinner not on the evening menu. It was perfect in every sense followed by a lovely amuse-bouche of pomelo fruit that had such a divine taste. Highly recommend dinner at the Horizon. The staff are are amazing and the chef makes the most wonderful dishes.

The dinner was fabulous. The food was great and the service was outstanding. They were able to make the dish with the needed alteration due to my allergies. The cocktails were perfection itself. This experience elevated by Ling who provided an excellent service with her perfect manners and amicable friendliness.

Couldn’t think of how many times already I’ve come to Horizon but the staffs always give exceptional service every time I’m there. From making reservations to arrival at the main gate, to seating at the bar it’s has been smooth.
Thanks to Amar who have been very attentive since my arrival who directed us to my seating, and also Julie who took care of us from refilling the water to answering any questions that I have. The food that is being made by Chef Zikri are delicious and he spend time explaining the ingredients used in the food that I’ve been served.
Ritz Carlton Langkawi is my favorite hotel under Marriot and I’ll always be looking forward going there again.

We dined at here by accident as our first choice at Ritz Carlton - Beach Grill was closed. But omg this was such a happy accident. We were welcomed by a totally stunning view of the sea horizon with sunset (i guess that’s why this restaurant is called “Horizon”). We ordered the “Nasi Goreng Hitam” and “Sa-te-kai”, paired with their signature “Hornbill” cocktail. They were all amazing! There were alot more other choices of cocktails and beverages, and we will definitely return to try the others next time. Lastly, their staffs were lovely and we totally enjoyed our evening with their top notch service. Highly recommended as one of the best resort restaurants at Langkawi!

The food is really good, I recommend the crab spring roll, the fried fish and the coconut ice cream. The views are beautiful too. They may not let you in if you don't have a reservation or are not a hotel guest so be careful. The only downside is that it can get very warm and they don't have any fans.

We were staying at St. Regis, but decided to travel across the island to catch sunset at the Horizon bar as we had read raving reviews about the place. I must say that the effort was worth every penny.
Not only the sunset is breathtakingly beautiful, but the people running the place make the experience extra special.
I must mention Ling Lee, who is not only a fabulous host but her skills with iPhone photography is outstanding. She helped us take some amazing pics of the setting sun and the beautiful setting. Thanks a lot.
Everyone including Raj, Prashant & the entire staff is most attentive and accommodating.
Cocktails & food selection is nicely curated at a reasonable cost.
Overall, highly recommended.

We had a very nice dinner here. The cocktails were great and the view of the ocean was incredible. Our server Sindbad was fantastic and recommended a lot of very good Malaysian dishes to us, including a delicious. Would highly recommend!

Everything about here has the ‘wow’ factor - the entrance, the welcome, the view, the service, the drinks - the price! Watching the sunset here was exceptional, the service was another level and the setting is stunning. My only tiny criticism is when you get a glass of fizz and they fill only half the glass - use glasses that don’t make you feel like you are being ripped off (especially at £18 a glass!). Very memorable evening though.
