This is our 4th visit to Pia’s the Padi. Great food, beautiful scenery, cozy ambience, friendly staff - that why we are here again this time!

The food here is really awesome. We had curry fish, rendang beef and curry lamb. All are excellent. Customer service is great and ambience is excellent with waiting running on the roof top and fish pond by the side

We had a really nice experience with Pia and all her family. We found the cooking classes really interesting. They teached us how to cook a lot of dishes, and gived excellent tips. I strongly recommend them. Thank you very much 😊

We stayed at Four Seasons and this place is a good substitute if you don't feeling like driving to Cenang for the multitude of F&B choices. The prices are similar to the Cenang restaurants but the experience was kinda hit & miss. Service is good...& friendly, the French onion soup was a definitely hit but the seafood curry is a disappointing miss. Using Dory fish for the curry just didn't cut it for me considering fresh seafood is available in abundance on the island. I'm suspect the Dory fish is the frozen version, likewise with the squid & shrimp. Big let-down. The chicken rendang was passable. Scarborough next to Four Seasons is a better option albeit the menu is somewhat limited.More

We were surprised how soft the beef rendang was (definitely must try 👍) and the chicken butter masala was fantastic, it was a little bit spicy for myself (I'm Russian) but for my husband (Malaysian) he thoroughly enjoyed it very much. Upon requesting for yogurt...the waitress even made the effort offering us to make the dishes less spicy. We really appreciate the thought but we opted for just the plain yogurt to be served by itself. Yogurt was amazing on its own! 5 ⭐️More

Read good review online about this place so I decided to try, I love the deco of the restaurant, the cleanliness of the place and the friendly staffs but im just a little disappointed with the food. We ordered set for 2 people which consists...of starter, main dish and dessert. Starters were samosa and sping roll (which were nice but too small a portion for 2people, main course were Thai seafood(prawn, squid, fish) and Fish sambal, serves with potato and cauliflower. The portion was okay but only the Thai seafood is good, the fish sambal(i believe is dory fillet?), doesnt quite taste like sambal, and potato/cauliflower didnt quite compliment the other two dishes. That with pineapple juice and mango dessert cost RM165. But I wont skip this place entirely next time. Maybe will come again and try different food.More

We went there for lunch recently but there was no paddy field to see from the restaurant! There was only incomplete construction and a wall which completely obscured the view. And the prices were very high. Simply not worth the trouble.

I love their Seafood Butter Masala. It contains decent amount of prawn, squid and fish fillet. They’re so fresh, so tasty and simply melt in your mouth. Highly recommended. The portion is quite big for 1 pax. I also ordered beef rendang but didn’t quite...like it. Its abit salty for me. Though they offer alot more other options that I would love to try. I definitely will come back here next time. The place is very peaceful and the cleanliness is superb.More

While driving a car on a rice padi trail originally designed for a motorbike isn't for the faint of heart, this trip was well worth the effort. It is clear that Pia is passionate about her food and her husband Jimmy does a great job...working the front of house. The beef rendang was soft and tender (unlike some tough and stringy versions I've had here in Malaysia), the butter chicken masala was perfectly seasoned and the homemade kulfi was not cloyingly sweet like many desserts here. Pia's is definitely on our "to go" list for our next visit to Langkawi. Just a note, the rice padi view has been replaced by a concrete wall. Pia and the team have done a great job with the wall turning it into a water feature that helps cool the restaurant during the heat of the afternoon, but if you are counting on enjoying your meal with a view, this is no longer a feature of the restaurant.More

A cosy place within the area of a padi field. The road to reach the place is a little tricky as it is very narrow. The ambiance is fantastic. Food is good. Serves mixed Indian and Malay cuisines. Owner very friendly. It was a wet...evening when we paid our visit there.More
