I have been meaning to go here for a few days and finally got around to it. I'm so glad I did! I had the Beef Rendang and it was so good.... beautifully presented with rice and vegetables in a sauce, I should warn you the portion is big! I couldn't finish it and couldn't manage a dessert. The service is perfect, the staff are lovely and so helpful. After I finished my meal I went into the Pelangi Lounge for a drink and to listen to the music and again was looked after perfectly by the staff, a very enjoyable experience.

We ordered the Thai set for dinner and a bunch of mocktails. Even though it was late the chef prepared everything to perfection. On top of that Suzy our server was the sweetest - she got us a custom dessert and paid attention to every detail. Really appreciated the service!

The Restaurant has an amazing selection of food, there is definitely something for everyone.
Difficult to recommend dishes as we loved them all, but I guess the Chicken/Beef Satay & Daring Dengdeng is right up there.
Fazurin looked after us so we'll, if you need your food less spicy just ask.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

The breakfast buffet is varied and ranges from Indian curry to British pudding to Thai noodles, while you can also have omelettes and soups prepared straight away. In the evening we also often went to the Spice Market Restaurant, where the breakfast buffet is also held, and found ourselves having friendly and enriching conversations with Suzy or Izwadi with pleasant regularity.

There are a variety of food here from nasi lemak, fried rice and noodles, noodles soup, cereals, some pastries and also the standard breakfast eggs. I came here for breakfast which comes as a package for my room. It opens from 7am-11am and there is no limit for entry. Meaning if you come here at 7am and go for a swim and later come back at 9am to eat again it is allowed. As long as it is before 11am (applies for breakfast). Am suprised to see one of the options for eggs are poached eggs which I rarely see. Love the nasi lemak sambal and as usual all the staffs are very welcoming and friendly!

We spent 3 nights and 2 days. Great service. Suzy Talib was very accommodating to foods, hot tea requirements and the food was delicious- both local. And every day we had breakfast at the Spicemarket and several lunch and dinners as well. The Resort is great and the breakfast is excllent. The staff is friendly and helpful,
Clearning lady Julia was very nice and service the room very cleaned.

Venue for my daily breakfast for 4 days. The SOP practice was great but the food offering was considered the same repeated items. Need to be more selective and changing menu items would be great with interval of every 4 days or else you will get the same for on 1st & 2nd day of breakfast. Nothing great but giving selective choice will not content guests to the same menu item. The nasi lemak, deep-fried spring roll, fried noodles, fried rice, lotong, and rendang are too dull for repeating the same menu items for a guest stay above 2 nights. If nasi lemak is a must but then offer varieties with other menu items. I trust either a Malay section or Western or Chinese or bakery/fruits, juices and hot beverage; giving a choice of truly Malaysian breakfast will give a truly memorable breakfast experience to everyone. Offer the Northern states breakfast dishes, rotate the type of fruits, juices, and bakery include with local white bread.

Incredibly slow to being out food. Ordered 3 mains one came out after 35 mins of ordering. Other two have yet to come out.
We are the only people in the restaurant at 5pm. No wait staff to be seen. The other 2 almost an hour later.
Roti canai was fantastic to be fair
Thali set no flavour let down 2/5
Chicken burger a little weak on flavour as well

We were pampered by Spice Market Restaurant's staffs during our stay at Pelangi Beach Resort hotel. Our special thanks to Suzy Talib who went above and beyond sharing us about Langkawi and Malaysia. She is highly skillful in customer services. Her background in hospitality business and her international experience is bonus for the diners. Suzy is Langkawi's hidden gem.

One of the best restaurants in the local area and I’m amazed it is not busier, Chinese and Thai meal we had was very good and put the cliff restaurant to shame for similar meal. Also great value. Not sure if non residents can use this restaurant but if you can I would absolutely recommend you eat here rather than in the town.

We spent seven days of quarantaine at the Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa. And every day we had breakfast at the Spicemarket and several dinners as well. The Resort is great and the breakfast is excllent. The staff is friendly and helpful, but never obtrusive. However, the dinners had not been overwhelming with an impression that you get part of the breakfast menu served in a different environment. I had a lamb dish with paratha bread that was old and the fish sauce was not different from that at breakfast. On the other hand, the risotto with seabass was tasty. We'd go there again, but probably not for dinner.

Chef Shaan Mugan prepared the best chicken biryani for us. We tasted the Malabar Coast Briyani Feast on Friday lunch. Wadi was generous and ensured we get the same flavoured briyani for dinner!

The healthy food you are serving is delicious and very nice presented. I took some pictures to show my daughter because she is a Chef in a famous restaurant. It is beautiful to experience your hospitility and fine dining. A true holiday for us.

Had an amazing iftar experience at Pelangi Resort! The buffet was amazing, featuring a delicious variety of local and international cuisine. Taken there as a Birthday surprise for husband and self by daughter and her other half. When we arrived they staff had prepared a table for us - it looked really gorgeous and we were very pleased. We would think they do regular menus, but we opted for the buffet choice and very good it was too. There was a great choice, with fresh food being cooked all the time. Certainly something for everyone, with all the food well cooked and presented. We were just about full and thinking of going when along came the lady who had arranged it all with a birthday (husband and self have birthdays just 2 days apart) cake so of course we could not go until that had been polished off! A really good evening with fantastic staff.
