We had lunch for two person. Local Malaysians. Steamed Sea Tilapia (it was told) and Kangkung (Belacan) Price was a bit steep. More expensive than of KL. Overall food quality and taste - So So, So beware - price can be high at this restaurant
One of two leading Chinese halal restaurants in town (the other being Ritz Boutique Restaurant). This one serves Chinese/Thai dishes generally. Among the specialties: fish head curry (red snapper) but do not forget the soft 'pow' (Chinese bun) - steamed or fried (must try the...fried). Another local variant is the 'ayam kampung' (free range chicken) soup or fried. Menu has both ala carte choices (good range) and set menu (good value). A tad pricey though: 8 of us had fish head curry, vege, ayam kampung, sliced beef, sizzling bean curds, rice and Chinese tea. All for RM322 (with 6% VAT). That works to about RM40 per head.More
Been there twice for lunch and dinner. Very nice Chinese / Thai delicacies. Excellent ambience. Cannot comment on price as both were treats from a local friend. Will recommend to others
This is a most popular halal Chinese restaurant in Kota Bharu that is frequented by both Chinese and non-Chinese diners. Supposedly the better Chinese restaurant in town. Service is pretty good, however prices are on a higher side.

The restaurant serves a variety of Chinese food. The stir fried broccoli, lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the fave dish soft shell crab stir fried noodle. The best noodle I have ever tried. The staff is very friendly. The ambience of the restaurant...is cozy and comfortable. The chef is friendly too. Love this restaurant and will definitely return. Thumbs up 👍More
although this is a Chinese restaurant but mainly halal food, thus no pork dishes. setting is old and one of the popular places in the small town or city center. food is good portion for 4 pax and tasty. the best dish was the steam...Thai style fish. service is so so as most of the staffs crowds at the ordering table. it is crowded after 6pm.More
I dined here once during my stay in Kota Bharu last January-2018.It was a very satisfying dining experience.This is a Chinese restaurant and the choice of food was quiye extensive.The food arrived hot to the table and was very appetising..I encountered only one problem-service was...rather slow and lunch,which should have taken,say,one hour,took considerably longer....Nevertheless the food was very appetising and I am happy to give this place 9 out of 10.More
A nice place to celebrate special occasions with families. Delicious food and good service. The restaurant maintains the quality of their food and services for decades. Worth going even if the price is not that cheap.
1. I might say in very few occasion in the past, I could not be attended because they are already fully booked. 2.pls check the premise operating hour. 3. I like all of the menu, it's a bit of selected traditional malay, Thai, Chinese cuisine....If you spoilt for choice, just ask the waiter, the are quite attentive. 4. Cleanliness, I think it's quite OK. It's a halal restaurant. 5. Free Carpark is available.More
Went alone for a quick lunch just now. I am served which I think is the boss cum chef. Ordered the steamed Sea Bass cooked 4 seasons style, oyster crispy pancake and their signature kampung chicken soup as per his recommendation. The food came quick...and wow all the dishes are delicious! The steamed sea bass is so fresh and oyster pancake very crispy. The kampung chicken soup is nice and remind me of the mee Soto kind of taste. Price wise is very reasonable as compared to other places I had with similar quality of food. Highly recommended for those who enjoy authentic Chinese food. Oh yes the restaurant is also certified HALAL.More

This was my second visit to this restaurant. My first visit was not so pleasant but I had positive thoughts that it might be better on my second visit. The food tastes quite nice. However, we are very disappointed with the customer service. The waitresses...were not friendly at all..they all have sour face and not welcoming. The food prices are quite expensive, fine dining price but the quality of customer service very poor. A hawker stall is better in term of customer service. We ordered a 7 set meal. We ordered a fish but it came super late..when all of our other dishes were finished. We suspected they missed out on our order or they sent it to a wrong table because people who came after us already received their fish. The waitresses did not say anything...not even a sorry. They should have informed us if the fish is not ready yet, not talking to each other without respecting the customer. We asked 3 times for our fish but they looked at us like we made a wrong order. During our first visit, we had a similar experience. We thought we ordered a tom yum but it did not arrive. So, we asked the waitresses, they talked to each other but did not provide us with any solutions. Finally, when we asked again...then only they told us the tom yum was not part of the meal set we ordered. Even the manager at the counter was not friendly or helpful at all. Extremely disappointing customer service.More
The service was fast. Awesome and delicious food. But the squid’s portion was slightly small. Really loved their buttered prawn. Worth to visit this restaurant.
