Cheap food. Kuah masak lemak and ayam masak merah not spicy at all. Suitable for children. Good taste of coffee and also serve half boil egg, laksa kuah putih, and roti titap kampung style. They also have local bakery such as very soft coconut kaya...bread and kuih apam serve on the table. Pak Din and his assistant is very friendly too. Pak Din usually just look at people as if he is not friendly, but he’s not. Table setting like japanese style And they do have tables outside their shops too. Overall, suitable for children,s tastebud but parking quite hassle as it located at main street.More

It is a coffee shop “bar style” seating (like a meeting room table with void in d middle so that you sit facing no counterpart). The centre is for preparation and serving by the proprietor, an oldish man who is ever willing to part with...info. Its not exactly pristine and orderly in layout. That is why it is easily mistaken for being “unhygienic”. Well hygiene in eateries is not tip top generally in Malaysia and more so in east coast (no offence but that’s reality in general although there are probably 10% exception: for a price of course). You will find array of packed rice and traditional food as well as the house specialties in forms of bread and eggs. Only bane is you would not know what to ask. Try asking for recommendation from Din himself. Bite the bullet and give it a go. Wont even scratch your pocket.More

The Tea Beng in main coffee shop is very nice with bubble. but the waitress for the murtabak section (different owner) is not friendly with girls but can smile to men. ?? i would not suggest to my other girl friend/relative. Don't worry the murtabak...taste also not as good with that service. can find better murtabak.More

Get a table outside or sit inside bar-style (on long bench instead of stool) to watch Din Tokyo in action. Try the half-boiled eggs or any of the pre-packed dishes (best food from all over Kelantan) on the bar. Self-service.
