We were walking down the street, looking for a place to get something sweet for tea time, and saw the sign saying "the Lord's Scone". As it happened, I was particularly in the mood for a scone, and we almost walked in, but the entry was so shabby and the café is located in the first floor - it felt... More

A self service cafe. Good for a stopover to relax and enjoy afternoon high tea with friends or family. Try the scone.

famous with cream scone, we tried original and strawberry scone as recommend by web. the restaurant was located on first floor, climb stair (you can take photo anywhere you like) restaurant decor was just nice, self service for your food and drinks, I suggest you sit beside window, nice view and enjoy the cold weather. Never try never know.

Very cosy homely feel to it. We came here three times during our weekend break. Wonderful soft spoken humble staff members. Good price and lovely breakfast. Loved the scones and the hash browns. Oh and the milkshakes are very tasty! I love that you just write what you want on a piece of paper because hassle free. Only down sides... More

This used to be my favorite hangout place in CH. But the last 3 years has seen deteriorating service in once was well-run cafe. The food in the menu is shrinking by the day and now they advocate self-service??? You have to write what you want, bring the tray from the counter to your table & pay at cashier's on... More

They used to have more on the menu and now only scones and some sandwiches. The place can be crowded with limited seating and the people manning it are not the friendliest. It's self service and the menu selection is very limited. Price is not too bad though.

Scones were very tasty and cheapest compared to all other places I visited. It was cheaper by 2 or 3 times. Only RM2.80/scone when I visited. 2 scones were more than enough. Coffee was not hot enough. But drinks were very cheap.

Lovely and cheap scones. Delicious mango lassi. Just above a shophouse at the end of mainstreet. Great to visit after a trial walk.

One of the rare cafes that is not spoiled by commercialisation. Their scones and chicken pie have a home cooked taste like how it was done in the olden days. I like how the place is decorated with many small intricate pieces thats aged and loved by everyone. The owner is friendly and nice. Definitely one of the few cafes... More
