Ignorant and dishonest servant

Food served only average but I guess this restaurant famous because of the cheap price. Be careful when you are in big group. Servant will hard sell other food and decide the portion for you without asking your permission. Very ignorant and dishonest servant. In lesser than 3 minutes after taking order, we tried to cancel one dish (in total 8 dishes ordered for 10 person) but servant refuse to do so. End up some foods were wasted and we can't pack it back as we stay in the hotel (wet food)

Delicious and affordable

Disappointed as didn’t manage to try the beggar chicken which already sold out upon arrival. Ordered their signature prawn which is really good, a must try. Other than that, the salted chicken, pork and vegetables all are good as well with very affordable price.

Reasonable Prices For Delicious Food

The ambience of the place is down to earth and there is no air-conditioning. Most of the patrons were regulars and local folks. The place was packed for weekend dining and there was a queue for walk-in customers. Those who booked via telephone were not so discreetly ushered to empty tables in the far back of the restaurant. (It was not openly acknowledged that booking via telephone was possible.) With patience, one shall be rewarded with good food. The servings were large even though we specify "small" for our group of 4 pax. All the dishes arrived piping hot and the taste were like "mom's cooking". The bill did not put a dent into our pocket which turned out to be a surprise because one of the dishes ordered (fish) would have cost twice the amount if we were to have the same in Kuala Lumpur. All in all, we had a good meal to fill our bellies. A definite place to revisit if we were ever to be in Kuantan again.

Good Chinese food

Good Chinese food and reasonably priced. I enjoyed their assam fish, it was very good. Their sweet and sour pork was so-so, the pork wasn’t crispy enough for me. Their salted egg sotong was yummy! The herbal chicken sold out, but I hear that it’s delicious from local friends. It is a very popular restaurant so you should be prepared to wait to be seated. I went at 8.30pm on a Sunday and only had to wait 5mins for my party of 4 to be seated.

Super Fresh Seafood at Reasonable price

We thought we were going to beat the queue going early, a line already formed. It's really fresh steamed grouper with spring onions and ginger, thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the simple sweet potatoes leaves stir fried with sambal was delicious with "wok hei". An excellent dinner at very affordable price. Certainly worthy of re-visit to try out other seafood.

Your Neighbourhood Diner

Must be the long weekend crowd, a long queue had formed after us. Luckily we were seated not too long wait. The food was 45 minutes later, not too bad, the kitchen pretty quick. We had steamed fish, their signature curry prawns, tofu on hot plate, and stir fried vegetables with sambal.

Die Die Must Try!!!

Came on a weekday and it was packed at 7pm. Half of the restaurant was reserved seats which leave limited seats for those walk in. Two of us but we ordered butter crayfish, sizzling prawns, thai style fish, herbal chicken which seems like best seller and yam ring with pork ribs and signature tofu.

Good food!

Where there is a crowd, there is surely some good food! We arrived at 7.15pm and there was a queue forming on a Saturday night. Popular with locals too. We only waited about 15 mins for our food to arrive. But their famous salt baked chicken with herbs was already sold out. Nevertheless, we were very happy with the recommended food. Will come back if we are in Kuantan again. Yums!

Good value food as always

Those glorious bacons in superb salted fish gravy in a hot claypot... succulent patin fish (1/2) in superior soya sauce and finally the chili belacan fried with fresh kangkung Plus 1 plate of rice and water = RM50 Cleaness could be better however and at times diners could be overwhelming and finding a table could be hard. Overall, one of the best value for money to have a good meal

We ordered simple dishes, tofu and vegetables. It was really good. It must be said that working moms leave their tiffing carriers and pot at the restaurant for their takeaway. Also, I am impressed with the volume of takeaway from 6pm to 7pm. At the time most table has been occupied.

good food at reasonable price

this is a restaurant that we have repeatedly visited for dinner every time we are in kuantan. there is ample parking nearby. service is good. it didnt take long for the food to arrive. we had fish, sea cucumber/fish maw, very good prawn mantis - portion is a bit too big for us. bill payable by credit card. will visit again next time when we are in town.

Chinese restaurant that offers Good Chinese seafood with reasonable price. We ordered fish, yam ring, and vegetable. Omelette with bitter gourd. 2 big rice and 3 drinks. Total cost RM130. This is for 4 pax.
