This used to be my favorite restaurant as they serve very nice salted egg crab and asam fish. I visited this restaurant again after 2 years and was disappointed with the quality of the food especially my favorite salted egg crab. The crab was too dry and overpriced.

Refer to the pics ! The best dishes was the crabs. Especially the steamed one. The rests were pretty moderate ! Would have love to have some pork with the dishes ! Ha ha ha ha ! WIR ... Most likely not.

Could be pricey for normal seafood selection. Used to be popular with assam style fish cooked on charcoal.

We ordered 3 rasa fish, buttered prawn, special squid, Thai bean curd and belacan kangkung. All was tasteless. They do not have any crabs. The restaurant is dirty and the owner is smoking while taking orders. Will not visit this restaurant again.

Very big restaurant serving halal seafood. Point what you want to order on the pictures pasted on the walls. Too many varieties to choose from espectially when we are a party of 2 only. We chose the shark skin, salted egg crab n petai sotong. Food only average. Shark skin was a let down. Only a few small pieces of... More

If you don't mind eating at a plastic table and sitting on a plastic chair then this is an awesome restaurant for local seafare from Kuantan (fishing village at the east coast of Malaysia. True it is not the cheapest seafood restaurant in town, but it has some of the freshes dishes around as fish and other cretaeous are kept... More

The Sri Mahkota Seafood Restuarant is located in front of the Citiview Hotel, just off the main road before the junction to Teluk Chempedak and Tanjung Lumpur. We were there for our dinner at about 7.00 pm, and there was not too many guest. Since this is a halal seafood restaurant, there were some Muslim guest having their dinner there... More

I had dinner there three times during my stay in Kuantan, biggest reason was that it was close to my hotel. I had tofu with red onions and vinager, fried lobster and some kind of fried fish. It all tasted good, espacially the lobster. I also appreciated the fact that I could have beer to drink. The service was good,... More
