I was there with two friends as a recommendation of some friends. We asked for fries and stick pork. The taste of the them was the same as they’ve been fried at the same oil. Then the main meal, pork knuckle was also not good....It was a bit cold and tasteless. At least the beer was cold.More
We have been a regular at Berlin’s since it opened up years ago with its signature pork knuckle and was surprised that a pork joint could have opened up in a then quiet location. I would support the place when I went to Penang, which...has since closed. As time went on I shunned the place as the person running the place was getting arrogant. However went on supporting the place as a friend on mine wanted to go there. However the last straw came when we were with our kids inside when a group of smokers came in and started smoking. It was then quite empty and they had an open area outside. I then requested the guy to at least get these guys to sit outside as there are kids around and I don’t like smoke. His response was this place was open to everyone including smokers and couldn’t do anything about it. Plus he also commented that they were regular customers. Guess this implied that they spent more than us and preferred their cash. So to those that enjoy smoking whilst having dinner, you have a nice aircon joint to go to....but enjoy it whilst it last. To those who hates smokers and those bringing kids, do be aware as these guys don’t care about you.More
Its a place where you can enjoy good German wheat beer.They serve pork knuckle too and its good.The German sausages were good too.Good place for German food and beer .
We had a family dinner there. We ordered the mix grill platter, the garlicky ribs, the happiness platter, two Caesar salads and 4 beers. Overall food was alright. We enjoyed the pork and the smoked duck very much. The ribs was a disappointment because it...was dry. Service was alright as there were enough servers. There is parking along the road and you may need to park further away and walk. Our bill for 6 adults and 2 children was RM449.More
We come here all the time and same thing happens over and over again . Not everyone would like their salad dressing poured onto their salad as it defeats the purpose of eating clean. So we told the waiter repeatedly to have the dressing on...the side and it’s was POURED all over the salad . Please be attentive when we order our food. You charge for your service so the least you could do is listen when we order and abide .More
We dropped by Berlin's for beer and weren't disappointed. There was a "buy 3 pints get 1 free" promo, while the finger food were delicious too (especially the nachos!). The staff were also courteous and friendly throughout our stay there.

The service is good. I love the imported beer. The steak is just normal. The portion is a bit less. Overall it’s nice.
I've been here like probably 10 times but it's my first review of this place from my last meal here, I came for the lunch specials - Lamb chop and a Erdinger Weiss. Good value for lunch and the beer is fantastic as ever. Recommended.
The service is friendly and prompt. The decor is warm and friendly. Has parking in the basement. Good food at a great price.
Weekday set lunch at RM16.80 with main course, soup and bottomless drinks is highly recommended. Their ala carte menu also has many recommended pork items such as the pork ribs. Extensive German draft beer. Good service.
If you are beer lover, it suits you perfectly. Fresh and chill beer. Cocktails also not bad. My favorite drink is Long Island tea.
If you want German food then do NOT go to Berlin's bier houz. The garnish is rotten. The curry wurst has nothing in common with a German style curry wurst. French fries still partly raw. Totally "over priced" but the service is trying their best....I will avoid Berlin's Bier Houz !!More
Attended with a group of five. Unfortunately, after ordering, I was advised that my choice of the portobello mushroom burger was unavailable. Meals were tasty enough but very small. Especially considering you are paying top price for Malaysia. Most disappointing was the group of smokers...sitting beside us which obviously ruined the whole experience. There were no signs indicating that it was a smoking restaurant, something that would have made a difference to our choice. Would not go there again. As per a large number of Ipoh restaurants it is plus service charge and gst.More
