My boyfriend and I visited Pangkor recently for 3 nights, and out of two of those nights we ate at Daddy’s cafe after a lovely first meal. The restaurant is located on the beach so has beautiful views and is a nice place to sit...at night time when the fairy lights turn on. For the food, there is a wide variety of choices on the menu including Malaysian food and different types of Western food like pizza. Highly recommend trying the chicken satay salad and also the Fresh Alu Alu which was cooked to perfection. The staff were very accommodating to us especially Jass who was very polite and welcoming. Thank you Daddy’s cafe for two lovely meals!More

Visited this place several times over the last ten years. It never disappoints. It has recently had new management. Wonderful hospitality and some very tasty food. You can eat & drink day or night and enjoy the wonderful ocean views. Does some nice cocktails. I...would definitely recommend this Cafe bar/Restaurant.More

A lovely sea front dining experience by the beach. Dishes not to miss out are the Baracudda Curry (really fresh and delicious), Fish & Chips, the Satay and steak. For the view, and the great service, the price certainly is worth it

Nice restaurant right on the beach at Coral Beach. Good atmosphere either for lunch while you're relaxing on the beach or for dinner later on the day. The owner/manager Muthu is super nice and friendly coming over for a chat every time we visited during...our 4 day stay at Pangkor island. The food was decent too, with the satay being the star for us.More

They give 2 chicken shop with boil vegetables and fries. 2 glass of juice 1 cake(birthday cake a slice so fry and not tasty at all) and a scoop of ice cream for 2 person as dessert. The food Is ok but service bad. Staff...showing faces like we own them money or something. If you want to eat by the sea can try out the food. Price is reasonable.More

The food was basic and mildly overpriced. We ordered the fish and chips and the unicorn milk. The drink was watery and didn’t allow any of the fruit juices to come through and while the fish was the standout of the meal, it was just...served with bottled mayo and bottled chili sauce. I tried to signal the waiter for some ketchup or vinegar but we did not see him again until we went in to pay. Perhaps another dish might have been a better choice but our meal was average at best. The view is lovely at Daddy’s and if you want to have a few drinks and watch the day end I would think it would be excellent for that.More

Went there twice during my visit to pangkor. 1st time just had dessert and took a while to get my cheesecake. 2nd trip ordered a pizza. Thought they could have done better with it. But the ambience was good 1st time was at night and...it was very nice with the lighting and decor. 2nd time was for lunch and there was nothing special about the place. Felt like another beachfront restaurantMore

The food was super bland. The fried rice, the curry and other so-called “recommended” meals were very mundane. I feel like there wasn’t any flavour in the meals. Even the fresh orange was bland ! As if it was just cold water with orange colouring...in it. My friends and I were genuinely disappointed. Considering that this restaurant fetched high ratings on TripAdvisor, our expectations were high. Would not recommend if you’re looking for delicious meal.More

My partner and I went to Pangkor for Hari Malaysia Holiday. I went to Teluk Nipah and Coral Bay years ago and I have no idea that the place has changed a lot since then. Back then Coral Beach is mostly empty. My friends and...I had the beach to ourselves and we had amazing BBQ. Now, the whole stretch of beach are full. We walked from the swings and 2 restaurants captured our attentions. They are situated next to each other but I like Daddy Cafe more. The first night we wish to go but the tables are quite full. Plus there are vvip dinner at the next restaurant. We decided to try the day after. After our dinner at Teluk Nipah, we head to Daddy Cafe for desserts. We were warmly welcomed to the seaside cafe and we made our way to the end of the cafe (nearest to the sea). Menus came in less than 2 mins and we ordered Banana Split and Choc Brownies. The waiters are very good in upselling and we know that they really love their work. In less than 5 mins, our desserts arrived. Then we decided to buy some drinks. We ordered Mocktail and Milkshakes. We enjoyed our dessert so much. And of course the taste is as I can get anywhere else. But the view and ambience is so nice that we ended up sitting and talking for an hour. The music is not so loud. Honestly, I thought this is the best way to run a cafe. We ended the dessert after that and head to the counter. We were asked about the quality and I said everything perfect. We love the way we end our trip. The dessert and view is perfect. I think this will be my place to dine for the next time I come to Pangkor. I got so jealous with those couples who got to dine during sunset. I will do that too. Wishing your business, best of luck. 😊 Minus points : stray dogs. But they hardly came to the table. And whenever the dogs are near, the waiter will harmlessly spray the dog with tap water.More

Make a reservation in advance and request for a table closest to the water!!! We booked in the morning for our dinner and had the furthest from the water. Food was lovely but the best is certainly the ambiance. Arrive early to enjoy the beautiful...sunset (if the weather is good)! Also look out for ants around the sitting area. We had to request for the wait staff to help spray insecticide. We booked a return taxi in case it was difficult to get transport back to our hotel in Pasir Bogak.More

Yes, indeed they have both. We were taking a swim when we decided to have dinner at the cafe. Told them and they made a nice table arrangement and reserved it until we were done with swimming.
