We went to New Woodlands as it featured in our guidebook and were not disappointed. They do a daily special which is all veg curry - as a true carnivore I usually steer clear of veg only but this was really nice food - 8 very small tasting dishes with a large rice, a chapati and 2x popadom. Best of... More

We are here for an early dinner and the food was ok. The prices were good and the service reasonable just a few things out of place. The Bombay thali was missing dhal - I've never known a set Indian meal without dhal and the naan was rubbery and pale. The biryiani set was ok but again this was served... More

Absolutely scrumptious!! I always love visiting vegetarian restaurants because I can pick anything on the menu and woodlands has got an extensive menu!! Would highly recommend visiting to try some great Indian food! Be warned though that waitstaff is not friendly and hardly speaks to you at all. I was only there for a quick bite on my way through... Great vegetarian food at great prices. Two courses with rice and naan all for RM45 and we came out feeling stuffed! Service is prompt and efficient and the lassis and teas are delicious. Highly recommended for all, vegetarian or not!

The food was too salty. It seemed like it was three days old with no life. The rice was stodgy. Naan was not cooked right - very heavy and doughy. Nothing had much flavor - it was one note - and that note was salty. Would recommend you try somewhere else.

The (all veggie) food is incredibly tasty and at a great value. Make sure you try the set dinner for lunch and the best Naan bread in Malaysia, they serve it optionally with butter, which is even better. We went there (one vegetarian, one not) for lunch and came back the next day because it was soooo tasty. Even for... More

We went here a few times during our trip and were never disappointed. It has vegetarian food and really good options. Their veg thali and madras coffee is the best! The service is also good.

This restaurant is very good for vegetarians. They have a variety of food items many made with less oil. The food served is typically south indian and tastes quite good.
