We had been walked around and found this hidden treasure. Matcha was superb! It's exactly great taste and authentic. I love their matcha green tea cookies very much. It's fulfilled my day indeed. The shop is pretty nice. Relax and calm :)

Affordable authentic Japanese dessert and green tea in Penang. The taste and presentation were wonderful. The place is secluded in a small one way lane. Lane entrance is opposite B Street Hotel. Open 1200-1800 on Thu-Mon, with limited seats.

Serves organic Japanese tea from Toyota city. Warm hospitality by a resident Japanese lady. Wonderful desserts - tried Anmitsu, Matcha icecream and homemade Mochi. On one of the narrowest lanes in George Town. Getting there itself is memorable.

I stumbled on this cafe quite by chance when I was wandering around the streets of George Town. Lorong Toh Aka is a charming old lane crammed with old shop houses with interesting doorways and windows, and wall tiles. Komichi is about midway down the...More
