If you appreciate Mexican food, festive cocktails, attentive and nice waiters, relaxed atmosphere and live music - then this is the place for you! During our recent stay in Georgetown, we ended up visiting this place three times. You can choose just to have a cocktail and/or a cool beer, perhaps with a portion of their lovely tortilla chips with guacamole - or you can choose to enjoy a full dinner. One evening we had the sizzling chicken that had to be wrapped in small delicious wraps.Absolutely recommendable and we would definitely visit again, if we were to go back to Georgetown.

Me and my partner went here. We shared nachos and had a taco and drunk each. Total price came to 50RM. We felt this was a fair price and we were impressed by both the quality of the food and the quantity of it. Staff were also helpful. We would both highly recommend here.

I was there post lunch time, so it was not very crowded and the service was good. Food was very good. The person who took our order was honest enough to advise us not too order too much. The place is cozy but could be quite dark sometimes..

We went here cause the reviews were very good. Ordered nachos, and all three of us another main dish. The nachos were okay, to expensive if you'd ask me, cause it is just chips if you don't buy add-on's. Our main dishes were really not tasty at all, meet was extremely dry and when we tried to tell the staff about this (we didn't eat our food yet) they came up with some weird stuff and one of them told us that our complain about the dry carne isn't possible, only when we would've complain about the chicken he could understand, cause the chicken is always dry?!!!! Well okay. We didn't finish our dishes and got a discount of 10%.... Atmosphere and music was nice but that's really all it is.

Yearning for good Mexican food, we went to Holy Guacamole with hope in our hearts and it paid off! This eatery has a very wide menu of really tasty dishes and lovely ice-blended daiquiris & 'ritas. The decor is terrific, too. Great service and wait staff as well, especially Nadim, who treated us like old friends, not first-time customers. The only thing missing was the refried beans and rice that you get Stateside, but otherwise it was super-good. We'll definitely be heading back soon, with friends.

The beer per glass is from a can? How would any one know? Is that how they do it in Penang. The salsa was sketchy and skimpy from the appetizer but when u order another it’s proper size. Staff let a solo person sit at a table for four but would not let me and my GF sit at same size table, after the dinner rush. Just all around shady stuff. They lost the plot

We live in Myanmar and anytime we can find Mexican food, we are on it. Holy Guacamole was very tasty and their margaritas did not disappoint. We ate there a couple times during our visit to Penang. The staff were very nice and you could tell they work very hard to make your dining experience a good one.

Having been here twice I can safely say this place is phenomenal. The five layer dip is my personal favourite and I always end up ordering more than one while eating here. Currently they have their amazing margaritas and daqiuris (choice of frozen or classic, flavours: lime, mango, strawberry, peach, and passionfruit) priced at RM12 during happy hour. I also have to recommend the Jalapeño Poppers, corn Elote, and the mushroom quesadilla. It is fantastic for vegetarians and the decor of the spot is fantastic to look at. And the staff are friendly and quick with their service. All in all, a fabulous experience.

We were referred to this restaurant by a friend and were fully impressed with both the food and the drinks. The food and drinks are fairly priced and a few of the cocktails (margherita and daiquiris) are usually on special for around RM15 until 10pm. The good was to a good standard and met all our expectations.

I have dined here three times and this will be the last. The food undoubtedly tastes good but there is hardly any meat in the burritos. It's all lettuce and stringy cheese! The place gets super busy so they can get away with ripping customers off. It will no doubt continue as they chase bigger profits but hopefully they'll read this and take note. Chicken is cheap in Malaysia so there is no excuse for being this mean customers like this. Drinks are also horribly overpriced. Avoid.

Pros: *Good quality meat *Fresh quality ingredients (limited) Cons: *The most bland and lacking in flavour Mexican food I’ve ever had *They can’t make salsa *The cheese is minimal and poor quality *Poor service *Hidden costs added *Small portions *No sauce in the food *No spices *No real salsa (chopped tomato and a green herb…) I don’t recommend you eat here if you are a Mexican or Westerner, it’ll be a disappointment and nothing like you’re used to. Don’t go for something that’s less than mediocre. Don’t trust the other reviews, a lot of them are Chinese tourists who don’t have any level of understanding of Mexican/Tex Mex to compare it to, or they are locals who haven’t travelled far to try decent Mexican or Tex Mex (no offense intended).*. This is a restaurant for locals to enjoy their local version of Mexican food. Watch out, they added 6% tax and then added a 10% service charge after adding that 6% tax. The service was poor and they wouldn’t let us remove the service charge. The best way forward is to include taxes and charges in the original prices, this is what honest and good countries do (other restaurants here do this). This is because the tourist may only have a limited budget remaining, in our case it was our last night and last bit of local currency, we almost couldn’t pay the bill after they added lots of extra hidden charges - We were calculating our bill as we went, but it ended up a lot more pricey and left us feeling unhappy, after they rejected to remove the service charge for poor service (walked up to staff to get their attention on three occasions). Automatic service charges are bad for customers in my experience, there is no incentive to provide the food service as the service charge is guaranteed. This restaurant is a case in point. *It is like us in the West claiming the Chinese food at a local takeaway is amazing, but we only really eat chicken balls and chips, with no understanding of actual decent Chinese food

The food was bland, which is not what you expect for Mexican food. The prices were more than what we’ve paid in Penang/George town and i cant understand why. The quality was average, I guess, and the portions were really small. There’s a picture of 3 ‘tacos’ on the menu but you only get one for the price. The tax is added after AND they want you to pay a 10% service charge (which would be fine if it was good service). Service was non-existent and they completely forgot about us, we literally had to stand at the front for a few minutes just to get someone so we could pay. Over the main road is FULL of street food, so it suites all types, cooked fresh, cheap and looks great quality (locals were enjoying it alongside tourists which I always find to mean its good, fresh and fairly priced). Wish we would have gone there!

Lovely ambience, super friendly and warm staffs, food was so so good.. the guacamole is just so perfectly made. Enjoyed the churros, too! Quesadillas were yummy! I had a lovely monitor, hubs had a coconut margarita. So good on a hot afternoon. Will definitely go back again and again and again! The staffs were so friendly towards my toddler and even helped heat up his food which we brought, and provided utensils for him. I would go back again and again to this place, just to try everything else on the menu!
