Nice ambience, service was good through taking our order, but we did not see our waiter again until we noticed him duck out the back door an hour later. He didn't check on the food,if we needed anything,or even to refill water. The pate was inedible--avoid it, duck breast quite good, croquet m. just so-so. Very long wait between starters... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our cafe. I believe this is your first ever on tripadvisor. We are honored. I believe, unlike you, most people have fully enjoyed eating at our place and have shared very positive feedbacks. I am sorry that your experience did not match your expectations. Especially the "croquet" which is... More

This cosy spot is definitely worth finding for truly delicious food using fresh local and imported specialities - and the best deal on great wine in town that we saw. House made sausages lived up to expectations and the smoked duck breast was perfect. Service was friendly and the chef charming!

Tucked behind the Gleneagles hospital, this little eatery has a nice ambiance, but that's where the compliments cease. Mediocre food, service with an attitude, small portions coupled with a high price. Don't get fooled...

Hello JW, thank you very much for your review. We get so many nice reviews so that your review is actually good for us. Makes us more believable - and you more unbelievable. Allegedly from HGK the prices here in Penang are too high for you. And you give our almost neighbour the highest rating ? Are you an actual... More

The passion of the chef and sommelier is the secret to the success of this little Gem in Penang. It is rare to get this quality of food and wine in an informal, friendly atmosphere that is made electric by their passion. They are not afraid to share their knowledge with customers as passion overcomes any fears of sharing your... More

Their breakfast menu is very extensive and the portion was bigger than what we could usually find in Penang's cafes. We highly recommend their homemade sausages which was by far the best sausages we have ever tasted.

That Little Wine Bar Address: 54, Jalan Chow Thye, Georgetown, 10050 Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia Phone:+60 4-226 8182 Business Hours: Monday to Thursday 5:00 pm – 12:00 am & Friday to Saturday 5:00 pm – 1:00 am. ( Smoked Salmon with Homemade Sour Cream and Caviar, Mini Vol-Au-Vent with Foie Gras Mousse, 3-Salmon... I recently visited That Little Wine Bar with my girlfriend and we had a brilliant meal! The steak was perfectly cooked, the duck was succulent and the cherry sauce was gorgeous! We highly recommend both these dishes. We also had the apple filo pillow which was by far the best apple desert either of us have tasted. You must try... More

We have not been to this restaurant, serving European/English cuisine for some time but was pleasantly surprised that it's maintained the high standards we had associated in the past and for our visit, in the taste and imagination of the dishes we consumed. Their French Onion soup was marvellous and the pork neck steak was incredibly good. My wife had... More

intimate bar off the beaten track, nice decor, but only two white wine served by the glass - a little strange for a wine bar! Menu looked interesting, but didn't try.
