Yes, they have 2 seatings (11:30am and 2:30pm) and are also strict about their fine for wastage policy (RM10 per 100g), but the sushi counter quality food justifies their polices and prices. Priced at RM58++ for adults and RM35++ for children, there are quite a few gems if you are looking for an exceptional Japanese Buffet in Penang: Temaki rolls... More

good service, good food...Their set lunch is worth trying. For those who wanted to try a Japanese fine Dining, their set lunch price is only from RM 23 and with many many choices for you.

Really fun environment if you can snag one of the "tea house" rooms. Seats 4, but really perfect for 2, a great private room, where you take off your shoes, and order as much sushi, sashimi, sake, etc that you possibly can. A real treat is the sashimi salad (even small may be enough for two), really fresh, diverse seafood... More

The food and atmosphere is not bad. I have been to Miraku quite a number of occasions. I heard of it's new sat buffet lunch, so me and my mum went to try it out. We arrive at 12.30pm, which is a typical lunch hour, only to find out that there are 2 sessions for the buffet, 11.30am-1pm, and 1pm... More

I'm strongly recommend you to their buffet lunch which is only available on Saturday, from 11:30am (or 11am?) to 2pm, if you are a Sashimi lover. At the price of abt RM60 per person , they serve variaty kind of fresh materials as sashimi like... More

Had dinner in the restaurant with my family and in-laws. Place very spacious, and food was tasty. Prices are average. Some Japanese diners, and 4 other families dining with kids. However the service was rather inattentive and slow even though the place was only half-full. I had to cancel a few food orders as we could no longer wait for... More

My 11-year old is not an adventurous eater but loves sushi, so this outing was basically to indulge her. Once you walk in to Miraku there is no hint that you are in Malaysia - in fact, it is incongruous in the extreme to travel in ten minutes from the colonial heart of George Town to Miraku, which is located... Very exciting place, different areas with different experiences. The food is top notch with very, very fresh and sharp ingredients and a very wide variety of Japanese offerings. Try the hot pot / steamboat combos - very interesting, but perhaps a bit bold for the uninitiated.
