MoonTree 47 is decorated and furnished in such a quaint and vintage style with such lovely attention to details. Kent , the owner? Is super friendly and helpful with local knowledge. We booked to stay here for 2 nights. However with the house being so old, sound echoes everywhere and I was even awoken by somebody stirring a cup of... More

MoonTree 47 is located @ 47 Lebuh Muntri, within George Town's UNESCO Core Heritage Zone. The front end of the shophouse is a Retail Area mainly selling postcards while the back end houses the Café Kitchen; the upper storeys function as a Guesthouse. The Café is situated in the mid-section where the airy courtyard is; it has a quirky, rustic... More

Nice little coffee shop. Staff were friendly. Beautifully presented - decor was great - modern yet traditional.

Just happened to be wandering by and fancied a cold drink so popped into MoonTree. A small shop at the front leads to a small courtyard garden area which is very twee and a small cool oasis. Had mango lassi and checked out the lunch menu and had the chicken burger which was really tasty. Great service.

We had breakfast here one day on a whim & ended up returning twice more. You walk through a small shop selling postcards to get to the cafe area which includes a small courtyard/garden. The selection of coffee is excellent, the breakfast food is good and well priced - 4 ringgits for toast & jam, 9 ringgits for French toast,... More

Worth a visit and a walk-through, but it belongs in the category of "average cafes within pre-war Peranakan houses". You've seen one, you've seen em all.

Coffee was good with a fair range of choices. Arrived late in the afternoon so not busy. Had the pancakes. Great setting for chilling and recharging.

I walked in on a sunny afternoon, the people at the counter just chit chat, when we asked for drinks...nobody seems to wanna serve. Their casual talks are more important, we left to Passion Hearts

We stopped here for Lunch on the way back from the nearby Chocolate Museum. You walk through a small shop at the front to a lovely and cozy seating area at the back. There is inside and outside seating. As they say, they do breakfast, lunch, drinks, but not dinner! Some snack foods, sandwiches, and spaghetti, but not large meals.... More
