Super little cafe and restaurant attached to the Mews Hotel. Food is very good; the staff super friendly. Nice little spot to watch world go by

Whilst Penang offers lots of places to dine, I highly recommend The Mews Cafe. So much love and attention goes into the food and it's staff are so dedicated to attend to your every whim. Though the modern interiors are not the traditional Penang style, this wonderful cafe offers a glimpse of its bygone past through the genuine service and... More

While the service staff were helpful and nice, the owner/manager is rude and condescending. She probably shouts or embarrass her staff all the time that she forgets and extends this attitude to a paying customer. Next time a customer has difficulty opening the toilet door, there is no need to shout and be condescending. The food wasn't too great as... More

We were on the search for vegetarian food and had a wonderful pad thai here. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great drinks spot in the heart of Georgetown, close to the graffiti art with stunning decor. Tranquil little spot. Highly recommended 🐵

We were recommended to come here by the folks at Kebaya (it might be a sister eatery). We ordered Nasi Lamak Bento and struggled to eat it owing to the poor quality of the chicken cooking. Considering how many cheaper hawker options with amazing quality there are in Georgetown, it was kind of heart breaking to pay good money for... More

Service was really fantastic here, and the restaurant was very quiet with 0 waiting time on a Tuesday evening. However, I find that the food is very mediocre and on the pricey side. Wouldn't come here again.

Great meal in a lovely atmosphere. Staff were attentive and drinks were cold and quick to be served. We enjoyed everything we had, satay, Vietnamese spring rolls and Pad Thai. Ingredients were fresh and delicious.

Excellent food and service on a quiet street away from the vibrant streets of Georgetown. Breakfasts, both the international and local dishes, were good.

We stumbled across Mews Cafe on our last night and I'm so pleased we found it. Initially we planned to stop for a drink only but the menu looked great so we stayed for dinner. The service was fantastic, the good delicious, especially the beef rendang - fabulous presentation. There was also a good selection of wines by the glass.... More
