The next time I'm with a group I'll order a whole suckling pug. We ordered a portion which was so enjoyable that towards the end of the meal we ordered another. Truly remarkable. With a group of 8, we ordered a variety of dishes which were enjoyable. One member of the group insisted on shelled prawns. It was disappointing. We... More

We came for the suckling pig but came away disappointed as it was not as good as the other restaurant we patronised. It was highly recommended by a friend. Perhaps the chef had an off day. The other dishes too were not as good as other restaurants in Penang. It could be better. We will skip this place the next... More

Best Chinese food in town. This is an very authentic Chinese Reataurant (more than 30years). Supprise that their dessert " ice kacang" and " chan dol" is as delicious as famous hacker store at Penang road.

Where the locals go. Where are the tourists? Not usre where to put this cuisine. Probably a Penang adaptation of Cantonese and Hokkien.Try the herbal fish soup which tastes like chicken soup! I think one needs to pre-order. The roast sucking pig is not bad. Enjoyed the Beggar's chicken but wished they did not serve it in a plastic bag!... More

From the moment we stepped in we were treated with such kindness from all the staff. A real family atmosphere. Despite the fact that there was a massive work party taking up half the restaurant, the staff were so attentive and calm. All the food was incredible and as imagined when looking at the menu. Even the vegetarian options were... More

May Garden is Cititel Hotel at Jalan Penang serving Chinese cuisine...from Roast duck, pork & char siew. They also have fried vegetable, etc. The service is OK and prices slightly on the high side...however, the restaurant has limited space and occasionally it can be fully packed. Also car park is a problem/

This restaurant serve fantastic chinese food if you are celebrating occasion with a generous budget. Although the ambiance is overall average by international standard, the quality of food have compensated for it. The suckling pig is the best and most consistent throughout Malaysia. The pricey double boiled shark fin soup is also have no comparison. There are few other signature... More

Very good traditional Chinese fare at reasonable prices. We had black chicken soup, snow cod and their special house chicken. For dessert, we had chendol. We were a little late for lunch, but the chefs kindly agreed to go back to the kitchen for our orders.

I have eaten here several times and it isn't often I get a dish i don't love. Some of the dishes are down right amazing. There is a crab soup thing served in an edible bowl that i could become addicted to. Not expensive but not hawker prices. Great suckling pig!
