Partner and I visited Penang for 3 days and made this one of our destinations. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was impeccable. Is a must go if coming to Penang. The Otak Otak entree was the highlight of the night. Would recommend.

4 course set menu at RM120++ with a corkage charge of RM25 - RM50. Food was good but not all dishes are authentic peranakan food as some of the dishes were infact Thai food. Lovely ambience with a pianist playing whilst we were having dinner....More

I liked it, but based on the outstanding reviews, I was a little disappointed. It's a fixed price menu (although they told me that hotel guests may choose a la carte). o I had otak otak as an appetizer. Very good -- an A o...More

Very good food. I'm not a big fan of chinese food becaise its mostly too greasy, this was absolutely different. Everything was very refined. I would advise to all order a different dish, the portions are big so you can share. In total with 1...More

Excellent restaurant within the Seven Terraces hotel. Exciting fusion food, basically Asian, but with strong European influences. Relatively pricey for Penang, but quite affordable for western guests.

Attentive service, delicious food, even a special birthday treat of an extra dessert and a thoughtful card. Returning to dine here and I wasn't disappointed! Main meals are generous portions, well presented, lovely atmosphere from the pianist's music. Looking forward to returning in the future....More

I guess you can prepaid as it's RM 120 per head . It's the drinks that may be a problem unless you know your guest preference

Description
Kebaya is the diningroom of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public.Open daily, 7pm till 10pm.Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine. The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.A four course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes. The Baba Bar is open daily from 2pm onwards, with live piano music in a very intimate setting.
