This was one of the highlights of our trip. Expensive for Penang but when compared to western restaurants of the same standard and service, this place outshines any high-end eatery. We loved the snapper main and chilli crab salad. The chocolate fondant is quite special...More

This restaurant located within the Seven Terraces is absolutely fantastic. We dined twice during our five days and thoroughly enjoyed the upscale cuisine served in a classic dining area. The service was excellent from the well informed staff.

Great food, expensive by Penang standards but it's a good place to unwind and enjoy the flavourful dishes. My favorite: beef stewed in peanut turmeric sauce. Least fave: desserts all in all - good food, great service downside - uber and taxis are not familiar...More

Had lunar New Year meal here and pleased with the elegant setting, prompt and attentive service, and reasonable choices for a set menu. Did not feel hurried and quiet enough that conversation was possible. Price is fairly high for Penang, but for special occasions worth...More

Kebaya is the diningroom of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public.Open daily, 7pm till 10pm.Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine. The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.A four course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes. The Baba Bar is open daily from 2pm onwards, with live piano music in a very intimate setting.
