Dinner here is a set menu. Oddly the price is not shown on the website so I had to e-mail and ask. A prompt reply confirmed that we could afford it and we were able to book a table for the same night. That said,...More

A friend recommended this restaurant, reservations made well in advance. The restaurant has an elegant stately vibe that fits well within the environment: a series of shop houses merged together to create Seven Terraces. Food was elegantly presented, service unobtrusive. I did feel bad for...More

We had an excellent time at Kebaya with our family (and baby). Service was friendly and fast (when staff didn't know something they quickly checked). The food was to die for (particularly the lamb and prawn curry). Highly recommend!

What a find! The menu is a far cry from anything I've seen across the world. The taste does not disappoint. It hit the 'wow' factor with every dish. The Kebaya tamarind beef is one of the most flavoursome and succulent dishes I've had in...More

Pork belly and duck were delicious dishes, nice atmosphere, good Chinese fusion with a local influence. The service was a little questionable and definitely diminished otherwise interesting and memorable experience.

This is the best food we have had in Malaysia. The sharing plates work well and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend the red snapper for entree course and the duck for main. Well worth a visit if you’re in Penang. Make sure you make...More

Description
Kebaya is the diningroom of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public.Open daily, 7pm till 10pm.Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine. The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.A four course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes. The Baba Bar is open daily from 2pm onwards, with live piano music in a very intimate setting.
