We went on weekdays and there was not many people, we got a quick service.
The staff suggested us to have curry fish ( head ). Honestly said, it was not the best curry i had.
Strongly suggest to put all the food in just ONE plate, looked tasty and yummy than putting the food in separate plate.

Came at about 6pm before the dinner crowd. There was no queue. It could have been 5/5 too for the food but food was served rather cold or lukewarm. Taste was good. Portion was good too.

Lunch: Big pile of rice, fresh cucumber slices, fried egg, a green bean dish, fried chicken livers, lots of gravy on the rice and livers all for RM4.80! Can't beat that.

Vastly overpriced food. Better off spending this money at Deen Maju or Kapitan
Restaurant, where you will get good food that are value for money. Or else go to
Winn's Cafe. Wouldn't go back to Line clear again. We had 1 chicken and one squid
with ladies finger and cabbage for 2. The Bill came to almost 60 RM. I refused to
order drinks at their place. It was akin to be being scaped. You have been warned.

Will cheat and overcharge you massively (to the extent of doubling or tripling the actual price), especially if they see you are a tourist or foreigner. Charged an unheard of RM57 for a plate and pushed us to take things we didn't want in order to overcharge us further. Very disappointing experience of Malaysia.

It is our first time ever to Penang, this is purely for good foods hunting..and we have found one! Without any doubts this is by far the best Nasi Kandar ever! We had the fish head curry, squid eggs, 4 giant tiger prawns, deep fried Promfert fish, lamb curry ..we ate all the foods on the plates without leaving any single grain of rice! The fish head curry in particular was the star!! Yasin the Supervisor treated us like Royals, the service is excellent!! Recommend this particular restaurant with any hesitations! Thank you Line Clear Restaurant for the wonderful and memorable first time Penang experience...Will see you soon!!

We went there for an early lunch at 11am after reading that queues for lunch would be long. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The fish head curry was one of the best we had tasted. The vegetables crunchy and fresh. The place, though a shack, was decent and relatively clean.
They even gave us a rap rendition to thank us for coming.
A must try. The curries are simply lovely.

Just outstanding Nasi Kandar (Indian Muslim Curry lunch). Queue was horrendous but absolutely worth the wait /weight in gold!
The friend chicken was divine and the blend of curries just makes their food so addictive.
Just be prepared to wait

everything was super yummy. search Ali, the waiter. he is super friendly and every ready to help the customers. we waited a bit before he invited us in and skipped the line. Kari kepala ikan was superb, the ayam goreng berempah very flavourful but the sotong was a bit meh. Overall, would come here over and over again.

I can say this is the best and most affordable place to eat Nasi Kandar in George Town’s central area.
Especially during the weekends you’ll see huge queue lining up in front of there. Staff also are very entertaining and kind.
Just give it a try to explore Malaysian Indian foods.

Beware of rip-offs! Tourists are really being ripped off here. A ridiculous prawn costs 17 MYR here!!!!! Over 3 euros. Absolutely outrageous. Never again. Over 63 MYR for 2 dishes, over 12 euros!!!!! On Pangkor Island we paid half that for 3 dishes.

This was one of the best plates of food we ate with some tough competition while in Penang. We were told this is a great late night spot as its open 24 hours, so we headed for some nasi kandar after spending our night at the bars on Chulia Street.
We got the chicken with biryani rice and okra. They ladeled on a few different sauces and we headed to the seating area, amongst only locals at midnight. Each bite revealed a new flavor, the chicken was moist, and we ate every bite. A great local spot to get some authentic fare, highly recommended!

Check the price before ordering. RM320 for 6 dishes is a rip off. Nothing fantastic about the food either and dining environment is dirty. Not worth the visit
