We saw the reviews on this place and thought we would give it a try! It was definitely and experience! We knew we ordered chicken and that was about it. It tasted really good and it was fun to watch the guy slop things onto our plate. One of our favourite things about travelling is just pointing at food and going for it. And we definitely had this experience here. The curry flavours were amazing and the chicken was seasoned very well! We really enjoyed our dinner!

I went to Deen Maju’s for lunch and the food there was extremely delicious as always but notch top of that, my friends and I rushed back to deen maju after 15minuted we left our table because we noticed we have missed our money envelopes. We rushed there & told the workers we are looking for the red envelopes. The workers even started to find inside the bin that fulls of leftover. They even took us at the back of the house to find inside the garbage bag that extremely fulls of leftover just to find our envelopes, we feels sorry & touched by looking at their sincere hearts to help us. Most shocking, their back of the house is super cleans & they really took care of cleanliness. I really recommended you guys to go to deens maju as their food really delicious & all the workers owns my respects! Thank you Deen Maju for great hospitality & services!!

Love the fried chicken, either with Nasi Dalca or Nasi Tomato, also fish curry and beef. All delicious. Best one in Penang. Delivery is better rather than long queue especially on weekend or holiday. Very recommended!

Went Thursday about 5pm. Luckily no queue. The man was very friendly. My son loved his fried chicken, potatoes and all the curry sauce. We thought the food was average. Pick your food, another man writes down how much, gives you the piece of paper. Get your cutlery. Find a table, waiters will ask for your drink order. There are napkins at the register. There’s a 6% tax on top. Pepsi was 2.30 ringgit each with glass of ice. They will write your drink price on the same paper. Our meals were 6, 10.50 and 5 ringgit. Go to the register and pay when you finish.

The queue here suggests that the food should be very special. We enjoyed nasi kandar but in all honesty, I have had better. If you've not tried nasi kandar then this place is great way to try out what, on offer. The rich sources poured over the rice makes a very tasty meal.

It was on Wednesday around 12.15pm noon. The Grab driver told us to be prepared to stand in a long queue. On arrival, we were surprised that there were none. The food counter had three food platers so the line moved rather speedily. Ordered the drinks. Pay for them at the cashier counter and off to find the seats. The waiter sent us the drinks.
The restaurant is reputed to be the best Nasi Kandar restaurant in Penang. The long queue of locals and visitors bears testimony of its popularity and success.
The place is clean. Plenty of tables and seats. Well ventilated. Food is delicious. And most of all, the prices are reasonably cheap compared to other Nasi Kandar restaurants.

My wife and I went here during the MCO and on weekdays. Arrived around 2PM and the queue is not long and systematic. Both of us order a set of rice with fried chicken and boiled eggs together with the mix gravy. Not a fan of Nasi Kandar but sure it was tasty.
The price is affordable and the menu is clear with the price list.

Came here through someone else’s recommendation but it’s really crap.
Food - gravy isn’t amazing, rice quality is bad, octopus is just lousy but the fried chicken is a saving grace. RM10 ~ 15 at least for a standard plate.
Place - Typical mamak stall, dirty and messy. Can’t wait to get out of here within the next 10 mins.
Won’t ever return...

This is a tips a local gave me for stress-free dining: come immediately after Maghrib. This is when office workers would have gone home. Not too late as the dishes will be gone.
The recommended dishes are pomfret curry, fried chicken, squid roe and coconut chutney.

The Management of the Restaurant is well organised and able to cater the needs of patrons. Ample of parking spot allocated. So no complain about that.
Queued up for almost 40minutes before it's my turn. Something they gotta work on. It's was freaking hot and we tried to find shade in between. Owner to take note.
Finally the hype about the food. Curries were good. Fried chicken and fried prawns.... reasonable pricing. If you ask me will I go again, hmm for queuing an hour, I dont think so. I have tasted much better Nasi Kandar. So my search for the best Nasi Kandar is still on.

When we arrived, there is already a long queue. So queue for estimation an hour before we get our seat. Basically when we enter the restaurant we can see quite a lot of empty table so not sure what cause long queue. This is our third time and they still maintain their taste.. but if you come with elderly or kids, i advise you not to come or just order from grab

So far, this Nasi Kandar restaurant is one of my favourite. Scrumptious yet inexpensive. Especially the aroma and taste of their curry. It was so addicted and satisfied! Luckily, I went on a rainy day so I don't have to queue for my turn.

Came at about 5pm on weekday. There was queue but it was moving at good pace. Food served hot! Had fried chicken, squid and prawn. It was delicious! Price slightly pricey though but considering the portion was huge and taste was good. It was value for money. There were plenty of available seats too.

Worth a look! Great food!
.
Stayed at the Loop Hotel and this restaurant was pretty much near. The staff were efficient and the food however was superb for our first dinner in Penang for the trip. All up, a very good meal and restaurant. Recommended!
