this place is famous for its briyani but sad to say it did not live up to its name. the other dishes were ok but not the briyani. i believe they did not use basmati rice as usually used in making good briyani. over rated. service is average. a bit pricey.

Was there on March2017 with a group of office friends. This place is definitely overrated. Since this was a biryani restaurant we went for the mutton ,chicken and a vege ones. The biryanis were a total letdown. The rice quality is no where basmati and just local quality small ones not suitable for biryani. The cooking style is more of ghee oil rice rather... We love indian food so for us Little India was a compulsory stop to try some proper indian dishes - or closer to the ones you can find in the country. Food was superb! Perhaps we did not enjoy the Chicken Biriyani much, but the other 3 dishes we ordered tasted amazing. We could not finish our food (4 dishes... More

breads were great (especially the garlic naan mmm!), we had 3 dishes and all were very tasty. I'm not giving 5 starts because the mango lassi my boyfriend ordered was pitiful, as was the lentil soup (watery and bland). Apparently the biryani is really good but we didn't try one. Service not bad. We sat by the window so we... More

Being a south Indian from India its unfair to judge places in Georgetown but still I found this place very good. Service and ambience is quite good. Small place though.

Made sure we did not take breakfast to enjoy lunch at this place. Ordered lunch set which came with variety of dishes and briyani for the better half. All in all, good food and fulfilling. Price are reasonable as well and good for family dining

There are many good restaurants to choose from in Little India, and this is the first time we tried Bite n Eat. The food was all good, from the muliga tawany soup (spicy) to the omelette (round) and chicken biriyani. Ginger drink was also quite good. Service was friendly and attentive. As others have noted, no roti until after 4:30... More
