This had the best butter chicken I've ever had. I also have Celiac disease so I can verify that this dish and their plain rice are gluten free. Amazing price for Indian; it may feel expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in Georgetown but it is spectacular. Compared to other southeast Asian countries it is very cheap and authentic -... More

Food is spicier that what we expect. Cheap eats. Make sure you make the milk tea on your meal, to help balance the spicy taste. We went around 4 pm and avoided the queue, but the restaurant is still busy. It is all worth it.

What do I know about Indian food, nothing really. I wouldn't know all the different regional choices and their almost limitless creations, but love eating them in different part of the world whenever opportunity arises. With the various spices they use even an all vegetarian mealcan be tasty. Well kind of stumble into this place in Little India (actually it... More

Little India, with it's market streets full of restaurants serving adaptations of authentic dishes from India, as well as original creations inspired by the diverse food culture of Malaysia, is a place not to miss when visiting Georgetown, and I loved this Indian restaurant. Little more than a shed with long wooden tables and the sound of battling, belligerent cats... More

What i ate was okay, good flavour..not really the sweet and creamy chicken korma i was hoping for but it tasted nice. Only the chicken texture was a bit strange. But what I really didn't like was that I didn't feel welcome as a tourist. Being a girl and being there alone made me feel uncomfortable. Like they were annoyed... More

Real Indian food, with a great variety of choices, all lacto-vegetarians (no eggs, no fish, no meet products). Very delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Must visit for all those craving for fulfilling south indian meal in penang. Kindly dont be mislead by few pics over here that shows the banner depicting pure vegetarian. This restaurant serves non vegetarian food and that too extremely tasty. visited both the days we were in penang and loved the food alot. Highly recommended specially for Indians who have... More

Local place with good indian food. But too much spicy in spite of the request. Cheese nan was a little bit poor in cheese and they choose the flavor of ice cream for us.

Simply orgasmic! I'll post pictures on my next visit! The buttered nan, chicken tandoori and cream spinach with ricotta cheese was just delicious! A friend ordered for me...I will try something new next time.

it may not be obvious on the menu but do try the banana leaf curry. It is simple Indian food with a piece of banana leaf put in front of you and a portion of rice with three vegetarian curries on it. Your choice to eat with your fingers or a spoon and fork. Try a tosssai if you're still... More
