4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Service at Hameediyah was extremely quick! I'm not sure if that was their usual standard or if it was because they were busy that Saturday I visited. I found the staff very accommodating to my vegetarian meal requirement, as I was a little hesitant seeing only meat on display. The food was tasty and authentically Indian!

1. Arrived at 1230 noon, crowd queing up to 10pax. Left at 115pm, crowd up to 20pax. 2. Ambiance is simple even being the known as the oldest nasi kandar joint in the country. The might hv recently repainted in bright yellow. Floor and walls are clean. Size is small so while queing u might feel cramped. 3. Most will... More

The reason going to this restaurant mainly because of the good reviews made by previous travelers. The restaurant is not bad but the food is just average, comparable to any mamak restaurants in penang. The price is definitely above average. Just google and you will be able to find better restaurants at a reasonable price. Penang is definitely a place... More

Too many times we believe in what we read and where we should eat especially if you don't know the locals. Many a good shops/restaurants and hawkers centres are still best kept secrets. The original Penang murtabak is sadly hard to be found. Triple layered with well cooked mince meats. Murtabak should be served with cucumber and onions as a... More

I visited this restaurant with my wife as it had good reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. When we came to the restaurant we were advised on what to order (as we were not sure). We ended up ordering a mixed platter (which cost 20riggits) and 3 garlic cheese naans (which cost approx 5 rights each). The platter... More

We arrived here late about 9.55 just before they shut. But they welcomed us in anyway and the food did not disappoint was some of the best Indian food I've eaten outside of India. Definitely worth a visit.

If you are nasi kandar fans who love the traditional nasi kandar with mixed curries, then you would not like it. Dissapointed with their mixed curries. The guy does not know to mix the curry well. However the dishes are cooked well enough. So if you are not a fan of mixed curries, then this place will be perfect as... More

Was staying close by to here so wandered up, without paying attention to the order in one shop, sit in another and was finally rescued by one of the waiters as the payment clerk at the door had been snowed under by loads of exiting families. I went there about 6.30pm and it was a good time as the families... More
