First of all I would like to say thanks to Kevin for the complimentary simple birthday decoration.. It was my first time and last minute request for the decor..he offered the 'today promotion' and instantly become my favourite.. 3 set course around RM85.. I enjoyed...the taste of thick mushroom soup, juicy sirloin steak and deserts (brownies I think which include in the menu)..for me it's totally worth it..On top of it, I ordered Tiramisu cake for my friend and the taste of the fluffy cake was really impressed my friend and me.. For those who enjoy cozy and relax cafe, I will efinitely recommend Laundroluxe. Once again, thanks Kevin, the waitress who serve that night and the Chef for the awesome food❤️More
After a very disappointing 4 course menu in 5* Shangri-La Tanjung Aru the day before we were looking for a non hotel kitchen and found this wonderful place. Surprisingly, the restaurant was empty when we arrived (it was full when left). Modern industrial design paired...with romantic piano music was welcoming and created an enjoyable atmosphere. To make it short - the food was excellent from Starter to Desert! We had very good Bruschetta with an own touch by adding salmon on top followed by a perfect combination of duck and potato with a nice orange sauce. Finally, the little brownies with vanilla ice cream and fruits closed a great dinner which top the one on the day before several times. Absolute recommendation!More
First of all, I found this place while browsing through some restaurant lists on the Internet looking for a place to dine in with my husband. The picture they used as an advertisement caught my attention, so I click on the link and followed them...on ig. Very nice pictures posted and have mostly good reviews on it, I leave them a message to book a table for two with a setup) Arrived on the said date but we don't see any set up made, so I asked one of the staff (Kevin) about it, so he went to double check, unfortunately the person who took my booking forgot to inform about the setup, but Kevin quickly made one for us and its lovely! For the starters, we ordered classic pancake and it's marvellous, love the fruit picked to eat together with the pancake (we still have the after taste in our mouth) I had cappuccino, my husband ordered espresso. The barista took time to create a cute heart shape swan in it 😍 Then we had lamb chop, and duck breast for lunch. Loved the mashed potato! The salad with the mint taste is superb! Overall we do enjoy the food so much, the quiet surrounding, its just us two that time (we got there before 11am) so it's just perfect for a couple time out. ❤️ Enjoyed the music. It's just nice. Will soon visit again, this time with the kids 🤭More
We went twice and if you are after some western style food, this is a good choice. Staff were very polite and very helpful. They forgot one drink so gave us complimentary drinks after that. The coffee is good! I had pancakes and like most...places, there's too much pancake and not enough topping. What is turkey ham? I know ham is not used for religious purposes but this just tasted weird! Eggs were good. I like the unusual setting. Lots of washing machines next to the restaurant but behind glass so there's no noise. It was a little tricky for our uber-equivalent driver to find to pick us up but we managed (he left and we had to call another).More
Echoing other comments, it can get noisy when the blenders are working and portion sizes are average-small. Staff are friendly, food is nice and it's a fun concept. Disappointed to see plastics straws in use. Cards accepted.
We came here for lunch and tried various dishes, note they dont have kaya toast after their breakfast set which is around 11am. The interior design is nice, but it does get quite noisy when they use the blender. Foodwise, portions are a bit small...but good value.More
Just had a pancake. But great serving. Food was delicious (Not too sweet). Service was great. Place was cozy.
Our friends live in KK and suggested this restaurant for dinner. Urban chic decor, sparkling glassware and professional waiting staff. My mojito was excellent and as good as any top London bar. Our food was beautifully presented and delicious.
My boys and I had pancakes and bacon benedict and it was delicious, only thing I will complete is in the internet can’t find any information that they even do laundry🤦♀️ I was running places to do laundry.
Had a dinner here with wife. Greeted by the waiter during entering restaurant. What a nice restaurant to dine, with soft music and great service with smile. Had a scallop salad, which we like it. For the main, we ordered pasta. prawn pasta and ravioli....Both are great, with plenty of flavour in each dish. overall, a great night to remember. thanks laundroluxe.More
Went here with my wife and 2 children, from the reviews I was expecting big things. The breakfast was nice and a perfect portion size, the coffee and peppermint tea was great. The staff seemed a little Inexperienced but nice all the same, I would...definitely recommend this place for a nice western style breakfast 🍳More
Had high expectations from the reviews here, but the experience was poor. The Caesar salad came with a generic, sweet, somewhat sickly dressing that didn't work at all. The smoked salmon in it tasted like it was on the turn. The crab ravioli was probably...the low point though. It had a rubbery filling, without any noticeable seasoning at all, and its sauce was thin, a bit salty, lukewarm, and pretty awful really. The chicken chop wasn't bad, but the nutmeg in the mashed potatoes just tasted weird. Maybe better chefs could get that to work, but not this one. All in all the cooking tasted like it was made by someone who had no idea what these dishes were supposed to taste like, and was making it up as he/ she went along. The waiter maybe knew what was up, as he tried to take two dishes from the table before we were finished. The final indignity: I had a bad stomach the next day.More
we had the carbonara although was ok was very salty ,it overode the other flavours which was a shame the staff were very attentive and polite we had banana smoothies - best ever so much so we ordered another each blueberry cheesecake and I had...mango cheesecake both very delicious would go again if return to the city maybe as said reduce the salt in the carbonaraMore
I've been to Laundroluxe 2 times for breakfast. The food was how I would like it - mildly seasoned. The lady who served me, was pleasantly obliging. The complimentary coffee was good. The place was cool and had a relaxing atmosphere.
