We decided to try the steamboat after reading some raving reviews of this restaurant. We ordered the garoupa fish steamboat and taro rice. We order the big fish hot pot with other side dishes such as beef slice, fish ball, vegetables. We also order some bowls of taro rice. The soup is awesome and the fish is great. The taro rice is also good. The price is absolutely low compared with that in Hong Kong. The average price is about RM70/person.

My parents were from Sandakan but I grew up in Australia. Coming to try this as a person of Asian background I found the fish fantastic. It was the thick skin with a little layer of fat below the surface. We had no issues at all. our friend, a local accompanied us to help with ordering. Mon -Sat 11.30 to... More

The shop was with air-conditional, clean, not very big, once inside you can smell the nice herbal aroma that lingers in the shop. The boss prepares the ingredients and condiments himself, quality is ensured. The fish broth was so fresh and sweet, fish slices were big and thick, 4 of us we had about 1.2kg of fresh meat which was... More

Sri Maju Steamboat is located in Asia City in KK - close walking distance from the Cititel hotel. From the outside it looks like a normal basic coffeeshop/restaurant - quite unassuming - it has a green signboard with "SRI MAJU STEAMBOAT" in caps. Had dinner here with my uncle, cousin and her friend. It's has a typical steamboat restaurant setup... More
