My wife and I travel a lot and have dined at many Teppan-Yaki restaurants all around the world, but our experience here was not great, A Teppan-yaki should be a show lots of banter and fun with the chef this was not, We had finished...in 45 minutes at a cost of £170 for the two of us, The food was ok but not fantastic not worth the moneyMore

Chef was amazing. We ordered the set menu and the guy brought a massive heap of food. My mouth was watering! Salad, Hokkaido Scallops, Tiger Prawns, Grouper, Aussie rib eye steak, Garlic fried rice and Mango pudding. He heat up the oil and poured on...the steak. Boom! Fire. Totally recommend.More

Great experience on first visit. Thaedus was fantastic. What a chef, creative, informative, funny and a delicious cook and a joy to be with. I could go on forever, can we take him home please. I dislike Japanese food but this was so good, my own...skills (not) with chow sticks improved in seconds. We would suggest to try the prawns, scallops, beef, veg’s plus rice of course. The Japanese pickles YUM. The second visit was ok but not as memorable as with Thaedus so we suggest you book and ask for him……but he won’t be there as we would have taken him home. The other thing we did not like is that they started to clear the unused tables and cling filmed a part of the cook area whilst we were still eating which made us feel rushed which this is something the hotel should take on board. But Thaedus we thank you.More

The food at this restaurant is incredible quality and the chefs are amazing at what they do. The chef explained all the meals as he passed them over and the presentation was lovely. Everything tasted amazing and was very fresh. If we could have gone...twice we would have! Well worth a visitMore

We ate here during our stay and the food was fantastic as was our chef. We had different set menus amongst the six of us which was no issue at all for the chef. The pace of each course was excellent never feeling hungry and...never feeling too full. Dessert took a while to come out but was worth waiting for once it arrived. it's expensive but a nice treat.More

We dined here twice while staying at the Rasa Ria. We had lunch at the restaurant and an evening meal. The food was very good, and very well presented. The restaurant wasn't very busy at lunchtime but a little more so in the evening. I...believe the menu was the same for both times of day. The children enjoyed watching the chef cook their salmon and vegetables. I had a slight niggle with this restaurant, and that was the price of the children's food...For the food they received (their salmon was the same size as ours) it was reasonably priced but really the children didn't need that much salmon and I felt they could serve less salmon and take down the cost of the childrens meal. Thank you to the member of staff who made origami cranes for the children.More

We both ordered steaks, they were excellent. The experience was let down somewhat by the chef not interacting really, maybe he was not confident in English tho so not worth complaining about. We had a rare steak and a well done, both were cooked to...perfection. The vegetables were very tasty. I would have expected the jasmine tea to be loose leaf tea and not a tea bag, that was a shame. Alcohol is expensive.More

It was my husband's 1st ever Teppanyaki and he was thrilled by the "Fire" show 😂 The kids meal came in a big portion but my kids are quite big eater to be able to polish off 3/4 was a feat. They told me it...was yummy but too much. The adults love the special chef menu of takoyaki, chawamushi with foie gras, panfry tuna, Angus beef, fried fried with vegetables and miso soup. Dessert was a lovely mango creme brulee. Thank you for giving such a lovely food journey.More
