Six of us dropped by and were taken care of by the most friendly manager who introduced us to a good range and quantity of dishes for all to share. The house wine was also enjoyable and not too heavy for 5 of the diners who were non-drinkers. Overall, it reminded me of the genuine Italian hospitality I enjoyed in the suburbia of Italy. The food was not fine dining but tasty, authentic and delicious. Skip pretentiousness, If I lived in KK I would definitely pop by regularly.

Fantastic selection of Italian dishes and exceptionally attentive, professional and kind staff. Went for lunch and tried their parmigiana as a starter and spinach ravioli. Both were delicious! The icing on the cake was freshly grated parmesan. My favourite Italian in Borneo - will definitely be back.

A lovely place to have dinner, great atmosphere, very busy, lots of locals eat there, tasty food. We all had pizza & it was nice, we enjoyed it. If you want to sit inside, I strongly suggest you book. Just be aware that they no longer serve alcohol, so be beer with your pizza or wine with your pasta 😕

After living in Kota Kinabalu for two years, I was a frequent customer in Little Italy. Now I came back for holiday and I was looking forward to dining at Little Italy again but I was very very dissapointed. First of all, they don't serve beer anymore. Second, pizza was tasteless. My wife ordered their most expensive steak which itself was OK (not wow) but the side veggies were swimming in oil and covered with thick mayonese. Sorry to say this but I won't be back and I'll be travelling for work to KK next month again.

Dear Jussy I am sorry if you are disappointed. We have been extremely busy with our 20th Anniversary promotion and the Chinese New Year big crowd. I ll be looking into your complain about tastless pizza and the oily veggies with Mayonneise as that really doesnt sound right. It must have been a real disaster to deserve a 1 star review. Thank you for letting me know through your feedback. But if your review is based on the beer issue then it disappoints me. Rgds Emiliano

One of the best pizzas we have ever had, and we’ve eaten a lot. So good we ate here three days in a row. The ravioli was exceptional and all 3 different salads we tried were fresh and tasty. The homemade lemonade was refreshing. The tiramisu was fabulous. The restaurant is super clean and the staff were friendly and efficient even though they were extremely busy.

We went there for dinner and shared salad, two garlic breads and the vegetarian pizza. This was very good for three people. I highly recommend the homemade lemonade. It was actually freshly made with real lemons not from syrup! Very friendly service and we could even take away food for our friend who stayed behind in the hostel.

We have been coming to Little Italy for many years. But it’s no longer the restaurant we knew and loved. This is now an Italian restaurant that serves no wine. Sacrilege! Also it no longer accepts cash payments. The exchange rates for foreign tourist who pay by card is extremely high. It is, however popular with the locals, so much so that the tables are crammed together. There is no post Covid distancing here. But, not to worry, there are plenty of other restaurants offering good quality Italian food and who welcome tourists. Gusto on the waterfront, probably the best. Though it is now advisable to book in advance. In my opinion they also serve the best wine in KK. Toscani on the waterfront and Chilli Vanilla (not far from Little Italy) both serve good quality pasta and pizzas as part of their menu. And accept cash!

As a local sabahan and growing up in KK, this restaurant is well loved by my family! I have been coming to this restaurant since its opening. I was primary 5 back then in the year 2000. You could say we passed down the love of this restaurant and their food to our next generation, because even my niece and nephews are hooked ever since we brought them when they were small. So everytime my niece and nephews visits KK, they will always look forward to eat here! For 23 years little italy has stood strong in Kota Kinabalu. Even some of the staff were there for quite some time! Shows you how good the restaurant treat its staff! This enduring legacy of quality and hospitality ensures that little italy continues to hold a special place in the hearts of locals and forein visitors alike 👍🏻

Disappointed. Watery and not so tasty Zupa de Mare, the spaghetti sauce was merely just tomatoes which hardly taste any beef on it. I used to love this place and food when it was open ages ago, the food quality and taste has changed a lot.

The squid ink spaghetti rocks! We had it twice in our 5day holiday and it still rocks! The carnivore pizza is pretty good too! What i really loved about the place is the overall ambience - it truly shows inclusivity and you don’t need alcohol to make delicious tiramisu. This place doesn’t use alcohol nor sells alcohol, great that many muslim friends could also enjoy delicious italian food! We would surely visit again when we revisit Sabah!

We are usually skeptical about italian food abroad, but in this case i can confirm that the level of Appetitizers, Pasta and Dessert is at the level of italian good restaurants. Location noisy and crowded but the courtesy of the staff is excellent as well as the food. Good choice to eat well our traditional food at the right price in KK

Can’t fault this place. Great service and classic Italian dishes done well. The pizza is great and all the dishes we sampled hit the spot. We ended up back here twice during our time in KK. No alcohol served but you are welcome to bring your own, with cork charge.

Visited during Raya 2019 and boy were we in for a surprise! The place was super packed and the prices have increased over the years. Lucky was still great. I would highly recommend their ravioli because we hardly get fresh ones back in KL.

Ok, not to brag but I have been to Italy a few times and I wanted to check if this place was really selling authentic italian Pizza! And indeed! I must say it tasted as good as the ones I ate in Italy! Truly a must try when you're in Kota Kinabalu.. It is just near Suria Shopping Mall..I wanna definitely go back here!

This was an unexpectedly good quality restaurant of its kind in KK. The food is tasty, the pricing reasonable and the ambience warm. This is a restaurant that both locals and tourists go to. Most certainly worth many repeat visits.
