If you're looking for cheap Chinese eat-outs, this is a great option. They serve a variety of dishes for you to choose, with a decent amount per serving. However, beware of the choice of food you select, in particular the meat! They may already be stale or not that fresh, especially if you are dining at later hours. I have... More

They opens everyday even on public holidays except Monday and gawai holiday. Price are cheaper compare to nearby fast food stalls, many types of dishes to choose, quick and easy. Peak hour will need to wait a bit. Porridge is nice because its not only plain porridge, its sweet potato porridge. Suitable for one who like simple home cook meal... More

Not many of the local eateries near our hotel were opened for dinner at the time of our visit. We tried Taiwan Siau Jou and enjoyed the home-cooked Teochew style dinner. Very reasonable prices too.

Quite an experience for having small plate of meat and vegetables cooked in the very best Chinese style. Prices are pretty affordable when you ask for single portion for one person but with many choices.

For about 22 ringits we've tried 4 different dishes with rice and 3 non-alcoholic drinks. That's great value. All 4 dishes tasted nice: pork with mushrooms, pork with lemongrass, buttered chicken and ladyfingers. Staff was attentive and nice. I'd recommend this place.

My favourite place to settle my lunch and dinner! There's over 20 types of foods, rice or sweet potato porridge to choose and "soup of the day" as well. Nice food, Low price, best with aircon enviroment.

This shop is called Taiwan Siau Jou by the billboard. Home cooked porridge with variety of dishes. Not anything extraordinary, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable. The price is reasonable too.

It's cheap and simple. But it's not as great as country kitchen Kopitiam that is located a few shops beside the shop itself. Staff members aren't that polite too.

My friends and I go there quite regularly. We have only one comment: the food is just like homecook. The price is reasonable as well.

I am a fan of rice porridge with a few dishes on the side. However, the side dishes here are full of MSG, cold, and have been sitting there the whole day. And as the place is air conditioned, the food smells are not pleasant. I'd rather go to a coffee shop which has 'fast food' and order some of... More
