Had lunch at Kubah Ria aka Kubah Benteng. Went on weekdays so not many stalls were opened. Had mee kolok, ABC special and ice lemon tea. First time eating mee kolok which was nice and tasty. One should try when visit to Kuching.

You need to go to block B to buy the famous Fish called "Salted ikan terubuk". I just got 13 ikan terubuk for Rm50. Just a great deal! You can buy the souvenirs here too. it packed 10keychains in one pack for rm10. Fridge magnet also is available for rm10

Went there on a weekday so not many shops were open. Was told if you went on weekends they have weekend market much more crowd n stalls. Bargaining is allowed altho i think the price already quite cheap compared to other places . Better if you can interact a bit in malay.

This building is new, about a year only. It is by the river and there are many stalls around. Normally, we will just go for the those with many people eating, and most of the them are very nice and prices are very reasonable

We came alittle unprepared not knowing there weren't any seats at the bazaar, so we bought some disposable cutlery at the small supermarket and ate the lot at the waterfront of kuching opposite our hotel (The Ranee) Very relaxed way of... A great place to eat Malay food in Kuching. It overlooks the Sarawak river, but with the opposite side of the river being less developed, there's nothing much to see at night. The place comes alive at night, but is half opened during the day. Parking is easy to find during the day, but at night, it can be quite... More

For souvenir, you can find cheaper ones at waterfront. But not at the stores right by the river. You should go for the stalls across the road. Back to kubah ria, i... More
