I have eaten here on more than one occasion over the last 5 years, and the quality of food and service seem to be holding their own. As long as you remember that this is a restaurant, and not a hawker's stall, you won't find the prices excessive for the value received. If you want to enjoy a leisurely meal... More

This eatery had its origin in the cheow yang restaurant in the street behind. i first ate there 35 years ago when the now famous nasi kandar with chicken n some veggies then cost only rm3.50 . Fast forward 15 years the same nasi kandar with one added small sotong cost $18 ! the mamak owner (used to be skinny)... More

I guess it's not as crowded it used to be and so their service got a little better. Food and drinks remain it's same quality and if you come to Kayus just make sure u place a valid parking token on your car or the authorities will 'ninja' fine u as you are happily seeping your teh tarik :)

Weekend nights will be packed with people of all ages hanging out having a good cuppa. So do expect service to take relatively longer if you need to satisfy your nasi kandar or roti tisu cravings.

The roti(s) are good and very cheap. I would go for breakfast there once in a while when visiting Malaysia as it is close by. However the waiters tend to have a frown on their faces and they consistently ignore requests when you ask for a different curry to go with the roti. So go there with very low service... More

Don't order the squids(Malaysian call "Sotong")dishes. It's so expensive!

This is a rather popular local indian rice stall that is rather expensive. The taste is quite delicious perhaps due to the four five type of spiced curries. The food is expensive so are the drinks! If you are not prepared to spend RM15 to 20 for a meal dont step in.
