When Fat Tea opened its door to the public in Damansara Perdana, I quickly went there and blown away by their awesome breakfast but since then I seldom went there because of their location and the fact that I am hardly in the area unless...I made special arrangement. Operated by the same people behind Oriental Cravings (1 Utama), all the foods were cooked having quality ingredients. One fine day I finally came here again for lunch with the familia and at the end of the lunch, all of them complimented on how good the food was. ◾Macao style pork chop bun with extra bacon (extra $$) - tastily grilled pork chop sandwiched in between 2 soft and fragrant buttered bread roll with special sauce. There are other options such as extra fried egg, cheese, side fried and salad... I had to steal few bites from the son. ◾Macao style stir fried hor fun with choice between char siew or seafood.. reasonably tasty fried kuey teow with some wok hei. Similar to our local CKT ◾Curry Lacassa - vermicelli curry laksa cooked with prawns, char siew, taufu skin, taufu pok and veggie. Love the aromatic and creamy hot curry broth with the vermicelli soaking all the flavour. No qualm ordering this again IF I'm here again. ◾ Portuguese chicken or Po Kok Khai - turmeric and coconut milk baked chicken served with bread (or rice). Everyone should try this if you love Portuguese food. A visit here of at least one is warranted (if you've not been here already) as there are not many restaurants in Klang Valley that serves Portuguese cuisine. Speaking of which my tummy was drumming as I typed this post.More

Was really disappointed with my experience in ordering online. I paid very high delivery fees of RM44, that was fine as I really wanted my family to try the food. The least that they could do was to ensure everything was properly taken care of....They failed to reply and lied to me about the pick up time. Totally unacceptable service and response. Did not even have the courtesy to apologise and make things right. Lunch that was requested to arrive at 12.30pm finally arrived at 2.05pm and the driver told me that it was picked up at 1.20pm when Fat Tea informed me that the lunch would arrive 1.30pm Go figure this out. please.More

Scrumptious fodder served here, along with a good cuppa coffee! Opens at 9am, so it makes a great breakfast stop, and their lunch fare is also equally well-spread. With a sister bakery beside, their cakes and desserts are definitely worth a stop if you're in...Petaling Jaya, Damansara Perdana to be specific. Rustic charm and cosy is the best way to describe the ambiance here.More

I learned about Fat Tea when I was told that they have the best Onde Onde cake in town. So recently i had the chance to dine in and was highly recommended to try their minchi which is a rice bowl with minced pork, diced...potatos, onion, bell pepper, and yummy fried crispy pork lard. It was heavenly indeed, so yummy. We also tried the pork chop bun which I had the notion that it's what Macanese food is all about. The pork chop is a generous portion and I liked the texture of the bun. There were so many other dishes on the menu that i really wanted to try, so I will definitely be back soon. The decor at Fat Tea is very artful and old school with many homey decor placed here and there. The entrance was very green and lovely, surrounded by matured plants. The desserts hit a high note and we ordered to bring home some Ondeh cupcakes and pandan cakes. The Portuguese egg tarts were creamy and delicious. However service was below average and we had requested multiple times for stuff that never appeared and needed constant reminding. Not sure if the staff are forgetful or just couldn't care.More

Onde onde cake is all the social media rage right now and I heard that the best in town is from Fat Tea. During MCO they are open for take aways and i ordered my cake online. The family loves it though i thought it...was just like a normal pandan cake with plenty of coconut shavings and not enough gula melaka bite inside the layers.More

Our family of 10 ordered the big portion sharing platter for dinner. Food wise is good, not great but worth our try for the first time. Price is reasonable, only slightly above average , could be caused by the 10+6% various taxes and service charges....We just ordered a few jug of pandan sky juice aka water la with a stalk of pandan leave. This way, we cut a chunk of the bill later and healthier too. Service is excellent by the way. Nice place to have some special occasion. And did we mentioned that the pork chop bun is a must try.More

There are not many places you can find Macauese food the the Klang valley. This place is located in Damansara Perdana and the food is pretty good. The stew beef tendon is highly recommended. Ambient and service are good. The only problem is finding a...parking on a week day if you want to come hereMore
