This 'banana leaf' restaurant is a great place for lunch. You are served food on a banana leaf, choose the fish you want fried, select your curry sauce etc. A busy establishment that is clearly a favourite with locals as the 'branded' banana leaf restaurant next door was virtually empty

1st of all the toilet should not be so closed to the cooking area - kitchen as very unhygienic. 2ndly the workers really slow n steady n maybe too good business so no hurry at all. Many times wrongly sent the foods to us as they (Staffs) doesn't speak English well . I sincerely hope they can improve their service... More

Love coming back to this place when I'm in the country and we had fresh fish deep fried to go along with our white rice with daal as well as shared portion of deep fried fish roe, chicken liver and spiced curry mutton with our papadams (Indian crackers) ❤️ I ate with my hands and love it! You really got... More

I first visited this place in 2010 and have been here every year since. Originally an outside eaterie that was packed from the minute it was open then in 2015-16 the outside part had to close. Its restricted the dining, made it a little cramped - but the food is out of this World.

The food is good. Service can be a little slow even though there seem to be many wait staff around. The place can get a little hot because it's not air conditioned. Prices are decent.

Went to new place at 383, Jalan 5/59, Section 5, Petaling Jaya. Place was clean and neat. Lots of customer. Served with banana leaves. Had Banana leaf rice, fried sotong, fish, rava thosai, thosai masala, roti canai and roti telor. It was awesome meal. Thick curry. Rich flavour. Will come back again!

The outdoor space windy is long gone due to new set up. Food price gets more affordable, perhaps due to set back of the set up.

This a probably there most obvious competitive restaurants we've been. This restaurant "Raju" have been operated for about 40 years they said. Now there is a recently open 1 month old brand new restaurant next to this restaurant and they call them self "Raj's" ;) they are also selling the sample food "authentic Indian banana leaf curry" so the waiters... Really hoped for a great Indian meal but not to be here. Very average curries, lasi drinks unusually bland. Staff seemed very preoccupied with other concerns. Won't try again.

Was brought here for an afternoon snack on a Sunday. A clean, breezy restaurant with a lot of staff. We opted for the Dosa and roti canai, both of which failed to impress. The 3 big pots of communal curry sauces were passed from table to table, touched by different hands. That made me very afraid. I was very reluctant... More
