Nice cafe along the stretch in Damansara kim. While it is famous for fried chicken, we were disappointed, nothing to rave about. Yet there were other good food we tried such as the pork ribs and pasta.

This has been our favorite go-to eatery for quite a number of years now and their food quality has been remarkably consistent. Whether celebrating a special occasion, having a group event or just dropping by for a casual dinner - we have not been disappointed....It is comfort food for us. Of course we have our favorites dishes (and there have been so many) but they have also evolved with the changing times and circumstances - balancing costs, creativity and changing tastes. Of late their tasty menu has been consolidated with evergreen favorites (fried chicken, ulam herb rice) several seasonal specials (spaghetti + clams, pork ragu with orecchiette) and some new experimental dishes (mackerel steak, lardo-grilled kerisi) to keep things interesting and diverse. Chef Idris and his dedicated team has been doing an exemplary job! One cannot talk about Table & Apron without mentioning their service and customer relationship management. It is truly impeccable! Championing this is Rani, who along with VP, Mitch and others have made our every meal here such a pleasure and satisfying experience. They are like friends!More
Yes as billed this is a neighbourhood restaurant that serves up well cooked honest food. The lunch specials are excellent value. My wife had the cauliflower soup and chicken chop with rice and coleslaw for $21. Tip top value. And my pork ragout was large...and absolutely full of flavour for $38. Quite the best bowl of pasta, pork ragout I think I've ever had. The pineapple tart tatin was rather disappointing but I won't removevacstar because the service was incredible. Our female server went out of her way to be helpful and we were welcomed as walk-ins even though the restaurant was close to being fullMore
Positives: - The food! Had the Christmas menu - duck leg and the beef ragu followed by the chocolate pie (basically a chocolate cake) and the apple pie. Food came out fairly quickly. - Service! Staff were friendly and efficient! - Ambience (sat upstairs). Negatives:...- Parking is a nightmare in the evenings so do come early if you want to find a good spot! Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!More
Ordered the soup of the day, sourdough with butter and olive oil, charred eggplants & fried chicken and really enjoyed the food a lot. Service was also awesome as well. Will definitely love to come back here to dine in again in the future
The food and service here is really great. Located in an are outside of the city. We order eggplant, sweet potato, fried chicken ribs and some of the breads with toppings. All tasted great and look forward to my next visit. Big thumbs up
That was some really good fried chicken and eggplant dish. I quite enjoyed the tiramisu as well. Our waiter, Ronny was quite the gem. A very attentive guy. I should've asked for his number hey.
Our friend recommended this place for good ‘comfort’ food and she was right! Our favourite was the fried chicken, definitely finger licking good especially with chilly sauce. Service was impeccable and attentive, would definitely come back!
Like the nasi ulam and buttermilk fried chicken. Loved the sourdough bread too with tuna pate, never give dat a miss whenever I am there. Cakes are nice too with some dessert after a meal makes it so complete.
Tugged within the residential area of Damansara Kim, Middle side on the business lot nearer to LDP highway. Love their fried chicken, pulled pork eith sourdough, brinjal, meatball and ginger infused kambucha. Recommended.
This is the first time I came across a simple restaurant that have 2 set dinner sittings - 5:30 pm & 8:30 pm per day. Most restaurants don’t have pre-set dinner timing, unless it’s those popular fine dining restaurants. If they have such timing then...the food must be very good. Food is average but have to admit that their fried chicken is very tasty and we ordered double. Service is efficient and pre-booking is a must.More
A friend of mine suggested us to try this place. We did not make any reservations however one of the waiters were kind enough to allow us to use the table until the next reservation was due. Unfortunately I was too busy eating and chatting...so I did not manage to take any pictures. But we ordered the pineapple and assam boi drink which was good and refreshing. For food we had the Nasi ulam and the small portion of fried chicken to share. Nasi ulam was very good and the chicken was to die for. Mr Kelvin took our orders and was providing us his genuine service throughout our lunch. Very well versed and good in up-selling his products. And also providing a fond farewell whilst mentioning our names. Only downside was that all the tables were seated too close to each other but I guess that’s just the way of the modern restaurant industry is. Overall, I had a wonderful time there and will definitely be back for sure. Sincerely, Vincent Cham Restaurant Manager Prego @ The Westin Desaru Coast ResortMore
Great personable staff & food to get excited over. Always crowded though (I've only ever gotten the side bar table for 2 via walk in and see them turning away groups who did not reserve) and little main options/lunch set choices for vegetarians. But with...proper home made sourdough, hearty vegetable dishes & desserts like the date sticky pudding you won't even mind it. Parking is impossible too lunch hour but I don't care, I'll Grab there.More
A breath of fresh air in Kuala Lumpur. Simple clean cafe with spacious seating. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Efficient service. Value for money. Every single dish we ordered was beyond expectations. I was ready to pick and critique but found everything delicious and the...portions were generous. Calamari and zucchini- light stir fried with a very refreshing sauce. Eggplant- Japanese influences with a western tweak. Okra - not the usual and very light and refreshing. Fried chicken- crispy and succulent. Very crispy. Not oily. Apple pie - generous portion with thick cream. Not too sweet. Good crust. Good selection of craft beer. Will bring friends.More
I was absolutely blown away by this place ... so much so, I returned with friends a couple of days later. Where to start ... OK, so it's quick a small (but this atmosphere improves as a result) place, so you HAVE TO BOOK .....we got luck as a table for 2 cancelled, but i advise you book. the menu is a Eurpean/Malay fusion with such a great twist .. Hats off to the chef who created this menu. everything we had was a real tast sensation, with EggPlant and Chick being real favourites. the deserts are also staggeringly good. the Hot pudding was simply amazing. Then there is the world class service and personal help we had from the staff. an absolute joy of a place. YOU MUST GO HERE !!!! I'm already looking forward to my next trip to KL :-)More
