We opted for the 'Romantic Couples Dinner' which was a special offer including discount for a massage at the spa facilities. A bargain 4-course dinner which works out around 60 euros for a couple. The food was excellent, the lobster bisque a particular highlight. We were served by the wonderful Mr. Muhd Noh. He made us feel like we were the most important people at the restaurant and had arranged our spa arrangement as well as a special dessert plate for us celebrating our 1st anniversary. A very nice touch. A top man and excellent hospitality. Not to forget the lovely Ida, Rasman and Ms. Kay who combined made our experience unforgettable. The service at the Avani Resort is top notch and I would recommend to anybody. Thanks again for making our visit so memorable and pleasant!

We stayed at AVANI and this was included in our package.
The Restaurant is now located near the front entrance to the resort and not near Sunset Beach.
We had a set menu but there is also an a la carte option.
We were asked if we wanted to set inside with the aircon or outside. As there was a nice breeze we opted for outside.
Our set menu consisted of a whole fish, which they offered to fillet for us and we accepted, rice and steamed vegetables. Entree was a bun for 4 with cheese sauce, oil, balsamic vinegar and a tomatoe salsa. Desert was lemongrass creme bolaze with a strawberry englaze and strawberry icecream.
The fish was Sea Bass and grilled perfectly. The rest of the food was fresh and delicious.
The sunset view was a beautiful setting to end our day.

It was our 25th anniversary and we were looking for a lovely evening together with amazing food and time together. This place turned out to be the perfect place. Amazing 6 course dinner served pretty well by team out there Anno , Ida and Ms Kay. They took care of the minutest of the minutest detail. Chef Lee took extra care to prepare amazing veg dishes for us.
Recommended for people looking to have a lovely romantic and relaxing time with some amazing food

Seriously avoid this place for good sake, a real ripping place, I went to this back in 2016 or 2017, you can imagine that i ordered a drumstick with humble few pieces of vegetables, it was USD 20 and the a small piece of salmon costed me around USD25, the salmon also came with little of vegetables, I felt cheated but I still paid for the sake of my esteem in front of then girlfriend. For this ordinary poor meals, we waited for an hour plus, from 8 to 930pm, we were bitten by the mosquitoes during the wait and also other bugs flying around the lamp, it was hot place without fan , even it’s near the seaside no wind. I made a complaint before and also to consumer act, the management of the restaurant said shortage of chef and offered a USD20 voucher which is silly and doesn’t make sense as traveller won’t come afar to use this voucher unless you refund the money to show your sincerity. Overall, Avani is a dull place with average seaside, I wouldn’t spend my time or travel cost to this place again.

The chalets are well-positioned to ensure all customers are satisfied with the scenery i.e. those who don't get to view the sunset, get to see the sunrise. I enjoyed every moment staying in the chalets.

We had a particularly impressive experience at Perahu Restaurant. I had written to Miss R. Kallimah, the outlet manager, in regards to organizing a special birthday dinner for my Fiancé, she went above and beyond to organize a private gazebo 6 course romantic meal for us. The food was absolutely incredible and portions were perfect. Our Server, Ano, was friendly and attentive and also helped us to take many pictures to remember our special time. I was blown away by their hospitality and considerate nature. We were suprized when the server came out with with the staff and a saxophonist to present us with a birthday cake. I have never been treated with such kindness and it made for a beautiful memory my Fiancé and I will never forget.

We enjoyed the set menu of fish, rice & bok Choi plus dessert creme brûlée... it was excellent and the service was exceptional from all staff. Mr Muhd Noh was the restaurant manager for our dinner and he was helpful & friendly as were all the staff. The food was so tasty and fresh! Great views too as the sun was setting from our outdoor table on the beach!

Perahu was a surprising treat.
Normally I would have low expectation from hotel’s restaurants, especially with local fare. However, the asam pedals Ikan pari was able to satisfy this local taste-bud. I really like it. I went for seconds for BBQ seafood, the mussels being my favourite. The beef rump was delicious.
Despite being a busy Saturday evening, the atmosphere was relaxing with a nice breeze. The service was good, with our glasses being refilled continuously and plates changed regularly.
It was worth to check out Perahu for its BBQ dinner if you are in Avani Goldcoast Sepang.
