I always love Haji Samuri Kajang as it’s doesn’t contain any fatty meat on the satay and it’s juicy and yet less oily.
It my first time dining in yesterday as thru the decade, I have always had them to go or thru food delivery.
Had mixture of chicken, lamb and fish satay with Nasi Pattaya and ice lemon tea. Food standard are always well maintained but it’s really stinky after eating from your hair to your clothes🫢 all smoky smell. So It’s my first and last time dining in, will continue takeaway their satay only

Spacious restaurant with ample seating place and conducive environment. If you prefer take away, the counter provides good electronic queuing system. The satay baked fresh to give its unique sumptuous smoky taste, eat very well with delicious peanut sauce with choice of hot chili paste.

If you're new to Shah Alam and want to explore local-style shopping in relative comfort, head over to Kompleks PKNS. When you get hungry and feel like some satay, then Sate Kajang Hj Samuri is at one end of the complex. There's usually a queue but I think it's worth it.

The sate is getting more expensive nowadays with a price tag of RM0.98 per sate. It is the brand name of Sate Kajang Hj Samuri which the owner take for granted which hike up the price where you can find similar food elsewhere with cheaper price.

A nice cosy place and a must to enjoy Malaysia most famous food ie, satay. Be it chicken, beef / lamb , all meat being grilled with charcoal fire till fully cooked. Dip into thick nutty spicy sweet sauce, eaten together with raw onions & cucumber, not to mention pressed cooked rice known as "ketupat"/"nasi impit". The combination taste is simply heaven... Will make you want some more

I never miss to visit this place whenever I land up in Shah Alam. The restaurant in located at Kompleks PKNS. The place is quite big and got a decent sitting spaces. The best thing I liked about this place is its quick and efficient service. My favorite is friend rice and ayam sate (chicken satay) - the most popular Malaysian delicacies.
They server variety of Satay along with other local cuisines. During lunch and dinner place is bit crowded hence you need to plan in advance or need to have patience to wait for your turn.
But overall if you love sate then this is the place you can't afford to miss. They serve Amazing satay with groundnut sauce just perfect to given enlightenment to your taste buds.
Only issue place is not air-conditioned.

This is a favorite haunt for the family when needing our satay fix. If u are looking for good quality satay, this is the place to go. They have many outlets - shah alam being one of the latest ones - which is more convenient for us.
There are more than enough seats available if visited during off peak hours. If going for dinner, arrive before 8:30pm and one will not have to queue for long at the counter to order. Otherwise, one will have to wait - to order and to find a seat.
There is a variety of satay available. One can select the meat of choice ranging frm the usual beef, chicken and mutton and also the hard to find rabbit and fish. If one is a fan of organs, there is also an array of these to choose frm.
Generous portions of meat are skewered on each stick, unlike the flimsy pieces one usually find at regular satay stalls, and no pieces of fat can be found in between the pieces of meat. It is all 100% meat. Great value for the money spent.
As always, the secret to quality satay lies in the marinade and peanut sauce, and one will not be disappointed here. The meat is wonderfully marinated and evenly browned with crispy edges. The peanut sauce is rich and creamy and very generous with the peanuts. If one prefers a spicier sauce, the sambal which they have included in a separate bowl, can be mised to the sauce - a delightful combination!
As the regular side dishes to accompany the satay, nasi impit and ketupat, are available for one to choose, along with the usual cucumber and onions to neutralize the palate. Or just be like us and order the ketupat and nasi impit both!
Although satay is, of course, the main staple, one can also find a selection of rice and noodles on the menu - in case satay is not the main meal of choice.
Ample parking is available if one comes for dinner. However, parking will be more of a challenge during lunch as the bays are taken up by visitors to the offices in the vicinity. Nevertheless, one can always park at the adjacent mall where there are sufficient parking bays.
Definitely a place we go to often for our satay!
