Had mee jawa - very similar to the mee jawa in Penang, with the crispy youtiao and tangy gravy. Pengat pisang is not that good. The banana is a bit sour and has seeds.

Some chinese women (customer) convinced us to order mee jawa and lahksa teremgganu. Both dishes were not soooo great looking but really tasty. If you dont like fishy taste you might want to reconsider the lahksa. I dont like too fishy taste but for me it worked really well. The mee jawa was bery tasty as well. At the end... More

Local cuisine cooked fresh and served on a banana leaf, the portion was kinda small for a western appetite but tasty enough sadly I can't remember what dish I had.

If you love Nonya food you will definitely fall in love with this small restaurant which provide so far the best nonya cuisines. Dining area is not big but decent. Staffs are extremely nice and friendly. Prices is decent for simple dining. Staffs will pack the food nicely for takeaway. Will go back again to try out their laksa.

I'm struggling to understand how could this place get TripAdvisor certificate of excellence. There's 10 small tables, 1 cook and 2 waitresses. The dishes are traditional local, however mostly pre made types where they just need to assemble on a plate  (nasi lemak, laksa, rojak...) hence should be relatively fast to bring food to the table. We got there at... More

Mee Jawa cravings for weeks and finally get to eat here! Having a little hangover that day but doesn't stop me from eating it, and the Mee Jawa didn't make my tummy upset, so I guess it's quite good? Haha. my friend ordered Nasi Kerabu, the sauce was nice but the veges are too raw for us, but they were... More

A truly local outlet in the midst of Chinatown aka "Teng Lang Po". Shop size is a bit small but the menu is genuinely local. You can get almost everything the Peranakan is famous for in this Chinatown's outlet. Food serving is not huge but sufficient for normal appetite. Rojak ceranang is a must try. Very unique sauce that blend... More

Same consistent great taste! Very satisfying nasi kerabu, unique Rojak Cerenang, and approved-by-connoisseur-wife bubur Cha-Cha! So far always consistently satisfying! A must visit for foodies when in KT!
