Although the location plays a very significant role for this experience I truly feel that this restaurant is a hidden gem that made the resort a more pleasurable time for the wife & I, not only is the food at a five star level but the staff are super attentive specially an amazing individual named Reuben who had made our stay even more memorable with his attention to details and personalization in the conversation.
I would recommend the wagyu steak was by far my favorite, the chef made me fall in love with the Italian fine dinning all over again, I would also suggest the butter chicken as it was one of the best that I have ever had amongst my travels.
If you are ever at the Taaras Resort there is only one place to dine in and it is Meranero.

We spent two weeks in Redang. I am an Italian chef therefore very selective when it comes to food and so are my two teenage boys who eat like wolves. My wife is Asian and loves asian food. The restaurant has two kitchens, one dishing out Italian delicacies and the other equally good Indian food. My wife really loved her Indian dishes. All food is cooked and prepared in plain sight in front of the patrons. A special mention to Buck, the chef preparing every day gorgeous Italian food for myself and our two boys. This restaurant made a difference in the way we enjoyed our holiday. The restaurant is part of The Taaras resort where we spent two weeks. This the place to stay and to eat in this wonderful island. A little corner of paradise.

Had a mix from the italian & indian menu. Definitely worth it! Presentation, taste, ambience, service and price point was super duper. Did not dissapoint at all. If you fancy a well ‘al dente’ selection of italian pastas this is the place you should go for. If not, the indian menu was rich of flavours that will bring your taste buds to a whole new level. Dont be afraid of you being hungry at the end of the day, the portion was big and super generous!

It was my father's birthday and we went for a nice dinner at Mare Nero. The options were great as my family has 2 vegetarians and the taste of each dish was top tier. I understand ingredients can be tough to ferry over to the island but Mare Nero was able to pull it off. If there's one dish that still lingers until today is probably the seafood spaghettini.

We had a great time having delicious meal here. The waiters and waitresses were committed to great service and were extremely Friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and we definitely liked that here have a very modern style. Food and Drink, all are absolutely fantastic and taste great!

loved the Indian and Italian food. Had dinner both nights. Creme brule is to die for. Service is good. Food is fresh and very tasty.
A bit expensive but food is generally expwnsive in the island.

Internal restaurant of the Taaras beach, serves both Italian and Indian cuisine, both of good quality. Average prices, much higher than the prices of the restaurants outside (there is one just outside the resort on the right) but low compared to prices in Italy
