Such a wonderful find away from the busyness of the medina. A lovely family restaurant run by some of the friendliest Moroccans in Essaouria. We discovered this place by chance on our first visit to Essaouria, we ordered the 'poulet citron tagine', and loved this recipe so much that we went back a few times just for the chicken alone.... We tried several restaurants before we finally found this place. We had dinner here three nights and the food was amazing! Like homemade food great flavours, great environment and the people working here; Samir, Mustapha & the cook Fatima are the best. Very helpful, nice and they make you feel very welcome.

Samir and the cook Fatima are amazing. Samir is a gracious host! Very concerned about you. The restaurant just opened 12 days ago and the food was great. We ordered everything on the menu and loved it all. Our thanks to Samir and Fatima for a wonderful meal for our family (2 kids).

Recommended to us by a Scottish guy we chatted to in the Medins. What an excellent recommendation. Run by two lovely lovely guys who are brothers. Food excellent, we had menu of the day ie vegetable soup/ morrocan salad, chicken/fish tagines, fruit salad plus complementary olives for 75 dirhams. Look forward to trying the pizza and pasta dishes. Nice clean... More
