What a wonderful find on our trip through the winding alleys of the Essaouira Medina! We were lucky enough to find it again the following day and eat lunch for a second time as well! We were the only customers late in the afternoon. Prior to choosing the restaurant, we took a look at their menu on the outside of... More

This place is very small but incredibly cozy! It is tucked away in the medina of Essaouira, but shouldn't be too hard to find. It is really nicely decorated insde and the waiter was friendly. The food was really nice; Moroccan tagines etc but not only, also the seafood which was very delicious. The apple pie I had here is... More

II was told to make a reservation at this restaurant, and boy, was I glad I did! What a gem of a find! Small but very comfortable, and very authentic as well. No problems with languages either, as our waiter knew all we asked about and answered us. The food was simply, DIVINE. It is behind the fish market, a... More

If you need to wait for the table, please wait. The richness of simple flavours has brought my happiest childhood memories. The place is tiny and cozy. Only a few tables. It feels like coming to visit a granny. Not a fancy place by far, yet one feels the love and passion that are invested in every dish, every recipe...... More

Food perfectly prepared in cosy comfortable restaurant - probably my favourite place to eat in Essa. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We were really pleased when we found this small restaurant in the Medina. Other reviews had made us want to try it and it was well worth it. It is very small but actually was one of the most comfortable places we went to. Most restaurants have traditional low tables and chairs and being very tall, this sometimes posed a... More

We came one afternoon and found this place closed, so we visited another night. It is very atmospheric, with only a handful of tables. Other diners were turned away. I would suggest arriving shortly after 6:30pm. I had an aubergine salad, and it was to die for. My tagine was pretty good. However my friend's kefta tagine was so good... More

we ate traditional maroccan food that was very good: cous cous and maroccan salad. the place is untidy and doesn't look too clean. the staff is kind and smiley. the table is very close to the other customers' ones.

Went here with a couple friends and ended up coming back two more times for dinner. They serve delicious tajin, harrera, and stirfried rice dishes called woks. Nice family restaurant with friendly staff

Another local recommendation. Great service and excellent food in a cosy slightly off the beaten track restaurant. Advisable to book during the day. The Fish was stunning as was the Aubergine main course. Starters good too. 10/10
