The whole family enjoyed this very nice restaurant. Excellent prepared food from amuse bouche till dessert. Menu more French cuisine then Moroccan. Very good service from all personal. All employees show the excellent hospitality this area is known for. Restaurant is becoming victim of its own success, as you need to reserve well in advance, certainly during the holiday season.... The restaurant is attractive but somewhat pretentious. The food did not match the space and is overpriced.

What is the definition of obsequious..? Too elegant? Overpriced for who? For what? We did not get the chance to talk with you on place, it's a pity sir! Why not describe that perhaps the place was not simply suitable ? Regards gourmand More

We loved this place! Very beautiful and the food was great! Very friendly staff and the service was so smooth, is not cheap but well worth the pricetag for quality and athmosphere (not super pricey neither) - Would def. eat here again!

We ate at a few fine dining restaurants in Morocco, and enjoyed them all, by La Table by Madada was the best. Although the place was full the night we were there, the tables are generously spaced, and conversation was easy. Of the many enticing dishes on the menu we selected spider crab--which the waiter told us the restaurant had... More

This is a fantastic restaurant. Beautiful inside, lively atmosphere and very refined cuisine. It isn't cheap but it is worth the extra. You won't be disappointed

A beuatiful restaurant, plenty of local flavour, where we had two excellent dishes - a lamb tagine with dry fruits and a fish tagine with vegetables, both very good and tasteful.

We booked a table in advance and ate here on our first evening. The food, drinks and service were very good. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As others have said, it is not the cheapest place but it is a quality establishment

We have been there twice in 3 days because the Location is simply fantastic, the Service is great and the food delicious. It is not really a bargain but related to the quality and setting the value for money is absolutely good. Would for sure go there again.

Excellent place, excellent food. High end and not really authentic moroccan but french cuisine, but style, quality and service are some of the best we experienced in Essaouira. No bargin though, but value for money.

A stunning looking restaurant, a great looking menu, lovely staff, what could go wrong. What can go wrong is they can charge 160dh for the most over cooked prawns on a bed of utterly bland "saffron" rice. A truly pathetic dish. My weak cerviche starter was served with a savoury sorbet that the waiter had two attempts at identifying them... More

Dear sir, The review just before yours in Italian took the same dish as the same price and found them delicious.. Crackers are not easy to find in Morocco and very unusual to found in nice restaurant! The bread was french & fresh from the bakery and sorbet was orange flower flavor which makes usually our clients to regale. Regarding... More

Restored carefully with respect for tradition and heritage, la 'Table Madada' is a former warehouse where the Jewish traders, "the 'kings traders", stored carob. This fruit of the carob tree, a tree in the legume family which grows in the region of Essaouira, was then exported via the port towards Europe. The seeds of the carob have a strangely regular weight, which gave the name to the unit of measure 'carat'. Its seeds but also the sap of carob tree, is nowadays used in the form of a stabilizer found in sweets and ice cream. Originally a sub-Saharan slave at the service of privileged families, the dada in time became a cook, nanny and confidante. Loved and feared at the same time, she represented the guard of the home and passed on her traditional cuisine. Some of these dadas became famous for having a particular dish.
