Excellent main dish with buffe. Fast service. Expect very helpful, attentive staff, who are sometimes a bit overly humble

I came here for lunch after reading stellar reviews of this place on TripAdvisor, setting it aside as one of the top restaurants in Puerto Maldonado. I went with one friend who had been to the restaurant before and was eager to go back. The first thing I noticed about this restaurant was the ambiance. If you've ever been to... More

If you're getting tired of the pollerias of Peru, this is a nice place. They serve a variety of dishes and all I can say is that the plantain and Pollo a la plancha as well as the burgos maki were very good. There also was a wealth of salads and papas to choose from at the salad bar. Prices... More

I agree with all the other reviews. I could not have expected such a great restaurant and a more pleasant environment in really what must be one of the most unpleasant towns I have encountered as far as aesthetics is concerned. It feels like a haven and the food was delicious- it's a shame they don't include the coffee and... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The interior was a surprise- tropical with lovely gardens. Local beer and wine was available. Each of us had a different meal- grilled fish, chicken, beef brochettes and fried fish. The presentation was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend if you find yourself with extra time in Puerto Maldonado.

We visited Burgos's before leaving for the Airport. A great way to say goodbye to the Amazonian region. Good service and great combination of local and creole cuisine.

I ate at this restaurant twice, had fish both times. Overall very good, well prepared and presented. About my only complaint about this place is that the buffet salad bar has various friend foods that have sat for undetermined lengths of time, they are cold, stale and generally not as tasty as they would be if they were freshly prepared.

This resturant is great if you find yourself in Puerto Maldonado. The ambience is jungle sheik.... lots of fresh air, plants, and decorative clay cooking pots. The food is great and sitting outside at the edge of a scenic overview of the river is a feature you can not get anywhere else. Camu camu with ice on the side, a... More

We had 3 hours to spare in PM so we headed into town for lunch at Burgo's. The food was very good, the service was friendly and the ambiance was relaxing. The chef even helped us flag down a mototaxi and negotiate the fare for our return trip. There are lots of nice places to sit so take your time... More
