Minsok is a hidden gem in the heart of Makati. Though difficult to find (landmark--Z Hostel), once found, it will reward you with mouthwatering dishes like samgyupsal (pork belly) and kimchi jigae (kimchi stew). The food is unlike any other Korean Restaurant in the metro wherein they just imitate the taste of Korean cuisine. You will know if the place... More

The restaurant ist not very easy to find and no parking space on weekends anywhere near by. The restaurant is very basic, plain tables, plastic chairs, family style eating and service. The quality of food is very good and not costly, very good value for money. The food is cooked by real Korean family, very friendly, helpful and nice &... More

Stumbled into this Korean restaurant with my colleague as we both craved for hot kimchi soup. From the outside, it was nothing spectacular. Little shopfront and not very conspicuous. Stepping into the restaurant, smell of BBQ instantly came to us. Mmm.. smelled really good, we thought. Quite a small place actually but fortunately for us, there's a table available. But... More

The place is a little bit small and away for from the main streets...but you will definitely forget all the troubles just to find the restaurant once you pick up your chopsticks and take your first bite...we enjoyed every food served on our table...

This place is off the beaten path and parking is a challenge but it nce you get passed that then you can enjoy the good food. The restaurant is simple but the service is good. Even the owners are hands on ,literally. I asked how the dishes are going to be eaten and the lady owner volunteered to demonstrate. She... More

If you want to eat fresh, delicious, healthy food without straining your budget, look for this place and find it at the heart of Makati where you would further search to get to the aorta -- because it's really tucked in the most inner of the littlemost street of Makati. At least that's how it appeared to a non-Makati gal... More

When you walk in, the first thing you smell is some cooked cheap butter or margarin. You get used to it later on, but still. Pork belly was pretty good. However, I have ordered spicy pork after that. It was the same pork belly, not spicy, and it was cooked in the same cheap butter. Did not enjoy that second... More

I had a stewed beef soup with rice. I find it too sweet for my liking and I could not finish my meal. Anyway, I also find the cost of food above average for budget.

Ive always been coming back here for their samgyupsal. We have ordered two samgyupsal, sundubu jiggae soup and japchae. My friends and I love it. The owner said hi and asked if we need anything. It was surprising but very welcoming. He even said bye and thank you when we were about to leave. Nothing has changed from the interior... More
