Thanks to TripAdvisor I found Charlie's Wonton. I'm always fond of noodles so when I saw the good feedbacks of this restaurant then it's just a matter of planning when I will be in the area and do a side trip to check out the place. The special mami gives you almost all of the toppings and BIG serving. The... More

You will only notice this humble eatery through the many cars parked in front of it. It got us curious so we tried it and keep on returning since. We only ordered the beef wonton noodles. It's broth is unforgettable plus the noodles and wonton. It's so affordable for Php170.00 with big servings that is more than enough for a... More

1) Be alert, you will miss this restaurant if you drove fast. It is setback, not much signage. How did we find it? The number of cars parked on the street will slow you down. 2) Service is slow because it was fullhouse, but the waiters were on their toes and alert. 3) It was comfort Chinese food as old... More

If I want beef wonton noodles this is the place I go to. No one comes close to beating their wonton offering. The place isn't new, it's just a refurbished home so don't expect pretty. It's quite old and run down. I wish they would renovate soon to attract the younger market, though they're always full when I'm there so... More

I've been planning to eat at Charlie's Mandaluyong since I can remember, This resto holds a special place in my heart. My Father(RIP) used to buy my mother their wanton mami as take out and bring it all the way from their first branch at Recto circa 60's to our first home in Caloocan. They were newlyweds at that time... More

We didn't regret dropping by here for late lunch. We ordered beef mami and chopsuey rice (but we had the chopsuey and rice separated). The dishes were served steaming hot but it didn't stop us from eating immediately. The servings were generous - noodles, veggies, beef and even the "sahog" in chopsuey. The staff were not that cordial but we... More

This place is a new discovery that friends and I chanced upon yesterday. It was about 6pm then and of the 8-10 tables, only 2 were empty. And the car park for about 8 cars were likewise almost full. These were good indicators for us. Having scanned thru reviews today, I agree, the siopao, despite its generous size was a... More

most of the time, this restaurant is crowded; meaning, it is much sought by diners :) I will never lose my appetite for their noodles:)

The first time we ate at Charlie's was a friend's invite. He said that if we are looking for authentic Chinese dishes, Charlie's the place to go. My husband ordered Beef mami while I opted for Wanton mami. We added siomai and siopao we were famished then. We were not disappointed. The servings are big especially the siomai. The taste,...
