this is our second time to eat at this restaurant. Everytime we went to manaog we would always have our lunch here. The ambience of the place is so homey the comfort rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are all very attentive. The staff behind the counters are very kind to assist when we ask about the dishes they... More
Pampanga, well known as food capital of the Philippines and if you love trying out exotic and delicous food, everybodys cafe should be in your list - from batute (frog), crickets and buro. Morcon and longganiza is also a must try!
Second time I visited the place. I've always heard fond stories of this place in the capital city of Pampanga from my parents who both hail from this province. Short of saying this was a permanent fixture in San Fernando since the 1950's. A long history of serving good Kapampangan food. I don't think they would last this long if... More
It's an old house previously ruined by the Pinatubo explosion and it packs a lot of comfort food. Morcon and chicharong bulaklak were standouts. Service is very personal and the dining area is a motley of kitsch and antiques. Try the leche flan and visit their pasalubong corner and get the yema balls. Around 2 kms from the San Fernando... I enjoyed their palabok and halo-halo for merienda. But I didn't like the Tapang Kalabaw. It was soft and tender but I didn't like how it was marinated; it looks like it's sweet tocino but it's not. Quite disappointing
Had lunch at EVERYBODY'S CAFE, Angeles Pampanga I made a big big mistake of going to this place ... looks this resto owned by Everybody's Cafe San Fernando? Wanted to treat ourselves to great food at this much talked-about resto ... very very disappointed on what was served - bland/tasteless, oily, meager serving, and worst, terribly pricey. The kare-kare seem... More
Being able to visit this restaurant for a business meeting was satisfying as I was able to experience eating in a silent and cozy place while taking a serious deal with my boss all at the same time. The place was clean and the crew members were very approachable. It was my first time to see stuffed frog (rellenong palaka,... More
We had breakfast in this restaurant and it was very good. My wife had cara-beef tapa and I had longanisa with fried eggs and rice. The prices were very reasonable and you could have other food like lunch items even if it's early morning. The service was very good although the restrooms were not so clean.
We had the stuffed frogs, adobong frogs legs sa puti, asadong pork dila and camaron. Food here are very expensive (quantity vs. quality). Perhaps its because the availability (harvesting) the frog legs and camaron and the established name of the restaurant. But the dila (pig's tongue) at 220+ is expensive. Will i be coming back? No.
