it was a good place I think, the staff were very attentive. The thing is, you'll feel so alone, you can't bring in food nor drinks, whatever you want to consume, you buy it from them but their choices are very limited. you can't even drink coffee beside the sea. It is chema's by the sea alright, you just can't... More

The most relaxing trip I had especially with the full support of the Chema's Staff, I can never ask for anything else. With the flick of a little bell you can get service and ask for anything you need that is within their menu. You can even ask for your meals to be set up anywhere within their property especially... Food (Filipino style!) average. The main problem: it takes time to be severed by not well trained staff. Not to be recommended.

Surprisingly, the food is good for the price points. They have a wide variety of Filipino dishes. Service can take a bit long especially if you sit as a big group. But overall, restaurant experience is satisfactory.

Booked a 1 night stay in one of their cabanas. We have experienced multiple passive insults from their staff drags our experience A to Z!! My partner and I were looking for a decent place to sit and relax on our 7 days vacation in Davao before I flew back overseas. I brought along my siblings (we're early and mid... More

This place was totally disgusting and filthy. Best advice is to go down the beach and stay at Paradise Resort right next door.

Went here for a day tour only. From our hotel in Abreeza we rode a taxi to Waterfront Insular where we found the jetty/ boat to Chema's. Taxi ride was about 20mins due to traffic and less than Php150. We weren't really sure if we went to the right jetty because the pirata bar area looked abandoned from afar. But... More

the nearest escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. it's only a 10-minute boat ride from Waterfront harbor. it's a bit expensive though - entrance, cottage / table, and food. don't bother bringing food and drinks because you have to pay for the corkage. but it's a full-service resort so you can basically get everything you need... Really good value for money, great rooms with decent beds, fantastic balcony with day-bed and dining table where you can have dinner served to your room. Small beach, but kept really clean. Good quality bed linen. Lots of towels provided. Really good, reasonably priced food. Shaded, sea water swimming pool which is oh so pleasant. All in all a very... More
